Jac A The sport with the helmets and sticks (a hurley) is called hurling, and it's the fastest ball game in the world. The other sport, with the bigger ball and no helmets, is Gaelic football, or just football. Both sports have goals where if you hit it between the posts over the bar, you get one point, and if you get it in the net you get one goal (which is worth 3 points.).
