it wont make any difference. gordon played lw against iceland with foden in the 10 and we couldnt create any chances then. the tactics suck. change the formation, change the players, it wont change anything if we keep playing southgates awful slow boring sofe negative pedestrian reactionary tactics. southgate is just so tactically bad. its painful.

@@NeilLewis77 Foden was drifting in to Kane's space all night long... watch the highlights again... that cross by Walker in the 1st half, Foden literally bumps into Kane in the central area. A proper LW and that cross would of been a goal as they'd likely been by the far post... 2-0 and the game is completely different... so to say it won't make any difference shows complete lack of ball knowledge.

The England conundrum is simple. Use Guardiola’a man city blueprint and apply it to England. That is, 3-2-4-1 formation. RCB-Walker, SW-Geuhi, LCB-Konsa or Shaw. RDM- Stones (he can drop in to be another centre back in defence). LDM-Rice RW- Saka (Bowen) RCM- Foden (palmer) LCM-Bellingham LW-Gordon(Eze) St - Kane (Toney). Arnold could sub on any midfield position really. I know it wouldn’t happen but I think it is logical, the man city players for England know that system well already.

Under performed? We created one chance in the entire game for our world class striker and he met it well, forcing a good save onto the bar. Southgate should of been brave and resigned and let someone else choose better tactics that would get more out of all our amazing players. We just got beat by Iceland. Once the team is in the lead, he always drops down to do the dirty work and win duels, he's been doing that all season. In fact, he received a lot of criticism for doing that in the UCL KOs.

Wherever the manager wants him to play, he'll impose himself and make the difference. He's the obvious pick for the attacking midfield role because he's more free there. Nevertheless, if Foden continues to fail in the wings, I'd rather have them swap positions because then Foden will be in his coveted position and Bellingham will simply continue to make the difference either way.

Southgate needs to stop being a coward and play Foden, Bellingham, and Rice together. Foden and Bellingham both have work rate and will track back, Jude is also a good tackler. Play those 3 together, start Gordon on the wing, and bring on Trent for Walker if they need a plan B / service into the box.

if foden and kane are rlly so good then bellinghams position shouldnt be holding them back so much. bellingham would perform nearly anywhere on the pitch. Foden looked like a lost schoolboy passing the ball to ghosts and kane was invisible. how is bellingham taking up so much space that nobody can play? is he that fat? is the field that small? is he cloning himself and holding 3 zones at the same time? weak azz excuses. be happy at least one player was in motion and dynamic. if anything he should ask the ball even more... seeing as the others don't.

@@bepsolo It was one game, that we still won. But essentially Jude as a 10 steps on areas that Kane used to drop to and get the ball. Kane is europe's top-scorer, they need to adjust to this system were Jude seems to be the key player.

It’s plain and simple TAA is too dumb to play the DM position or any where for that matter including RB because time and time he gets outplayed and outsmarted and as a result of that all teams know where to attack Liverpool great example is when Vinicius Junior and others continue to clearly get the better of him by ten folds in matches. TAA is only a successful RB due to Klopp asking so little of him (a one trick pony, whip the ball relentlessly and that’s all🙄😩) which is to go forward and be as offensive as possible with no regard for learning what he should have been in the first place over anything else which is defense😐. If Slot’s playing style is more on the tactical and technical side like people say it is then I see TAA leaving Liverpool sooner rather than later.😂
