I took this for foot pain but I drank heavily and could stop and the cravings were heavy. I took it for the foot pain and I just never felt the need to drink ever again. I accidentally found the cure to my alcoholism! I pray I never touch alcohol again.

Thanks for the info. I'm in recovery I guess (53 days sober currently) Looking for something to help with cravings. Obviously at this point the physical part is done and I know it's all a mental game from here on. Hopefully gabapentin helps me.

I suffer so deeply from the cravings and Gabapentin helps me soooo much it’s unbelievable. I took it for the foot pain and it somehow makes me not want to drink AT ALL! I tried Naltrexone but it made me feel disconnected from the myself and the world (derealization) and very depressed but this works for me as I’m very sensitive to drugs that alter brain chemistry.

I was drinking every day for a year and a half and now im sober because of gaba! I also have anxiety so its a win win
