In season two she missed and delayed a lot of her production obligations (costume fittings etc), and wasn't a great person to work with. She had a quick temper when confronted especially, and blamed it on her ADHD so she got written off for season 2 (I don't know if she chose that or not). She came back as a guest in season 4.
