J-Hope's theme is Jack In the Box which he connects to Pandora's Box, which is the history of where his name J-Hope comes from. So he was very deliberate in everything he created in the theme, the art, the songs. He actually collaborated with one of his favorite artists KAWS, which he mentions many times through out his journey with BTS. In the behind-the-scenes video of their 2022 Grammy performance, we see some of the members practicing without J-hope because he was in Covid quarantine at the time, and they missed him so much. Everything fell into place when they were all seven together again. The dance you were wondering about is the 3J home party dance.

J-Hope's talent for dancing is incredible: he first started as a dancer in underground battles before being trained at the Joy Dance Academy. He masters most genres and choreographies, and has a very advanced technique. J-Hope's four main styles are Freestyle Popping, Locking, Krumping, and Contemporary Dance, although he has previously said he has a preference for the former. Popping is an extremely difficult genre of dance, as it requires full body and muscle control. Few can master it to the level of J-Hope .

That's his "Jack In the Box" hat. Tying it to his album and story. It's always a surprise when the jack pops out of the box like the one I had as a child. Showing a different side of himself. Because Jack In The Box is a toy that has a jump scare... Inside the box is a creepy clown (mostly) that would spring out...that's why he's wearing the Jester hat.. I remember when they dropped the pictures for JITB, I was a bit creeped out cause it was such a dark theme.. But then I find him cute wearing that hat 😅

The guys are all so multi-faceted but it still surprises me to see how layered they can be. Hobi in particular has so many wonderful sides to him that makes me smile. I remember in one of your earlier reactions, you were really focused on their dancing and I thought that you looked at the in the same way that Hobi does. You went into full Hobi Dance Leader mode. It was so funny to see when you were still so new to them but still were so similar to one of them. Hobi is my bias wrecker and has probably my fave solo discography. Although it's hard to say because all of them have an excellent solo discography that's an wonderful as their group work. I can't wait to see you react to Hobipalooza. He did an excellent job with that performance.

he's my fav rapper ever his flow game is top-tier and unmatched & knowing he is the best dancer too! I mean he was a street dancer, an award-winning one before even joining BTS. One could argue which of the two he can do best so yah he is basically a bag of walking talent. rap, dance, vocals , swag , writing skills , production skills, good personality... I mean- he got it all! I sometimes wonder if he is even real ! this man is truly on another level i won't elaborate since ur watching lolla soon you will come to that realization all by urself but i have to say this young man is the most talented person I've ever seen in my entire life!

Most recently JHope was in Japan for an awards show but stopped by HYBE Japan offices to surprise their new group called &Team as part of a Japanese show. They were shocked. He remembered four of them from watching them on the show “I-Land” but he also recognized one new member, Fuma, had been a backup dancer for BTS at one time and Fuma was so surprised JHope remembered him 😁🥰 He watched them dance to one of their songs and was so impressed. &Team also did the “RunBTS” dance challenge in front of JHope that had been on TikTok. They were so nervous but JHope was so proud of them even with his dance teacher face on😆💜 He also talked to the group for a little while. Hobi is such a good mentor and human being.🥰💜

oh i was sooo shocked when “more” dropped..um i just wanna share my little thoughts about it 🥺 key with “more” is for it was pre-release track so it kinda opening the box where jack is. also thats why screaming parts are muted - its jack, he was still in the box when mv was dropped. and thats why in the end jhope closes the box without tape so jack will go out soon with whole album. and also lyrics starts when jhope tears tape - box starts to open and thats why all locations was in the box (they are mixed up by their places though). also i like how first and last parts are the same but sound so different as if it got more hungry and dirty - bc jhope wants more & more

The character he created is similar to jack in the box, he also has a short music video called "reflection music box". Jack pops up out of the box, and the music sound cool and wired... it's the 6th track in his album. By the way he created that music by breathing and recorded that an hour and a half .

Love your reactions so much and how you are able to decipher so much even though you are relatively new to BTS. Your own basis of knowledge & cultures & language helps you so much with them 💜. Your reaction to MORE was the same that all ARMYs had 😆 we were all caught off guard because it was so different from the Hobi/JHope we knew. At Lollapalooza, he said “I’m JHope from BTS. You can call me Jay.” Now this darker side of him is lovingly referred to as Jay by most ARMY🥰💜 You will love “Hobipalooza” when you finally watch it. (Even Lolla referred to it as that because Sunday tickets sold out when it was announced he would be headlining).

I'm like omg that's exactly what my mom does or says. 😭 Jhope is an esfj personality type. Esfjs are known to be the ideal mother personality type. It's so rare in men. It's so refreshing.
