Wayne Rooney was hired as a public relations exercise. Blues new owners believe if Rooney is manager they can attract lots of interest in the club. They’ve gone from 6th and a team playing well to 15th and team that is confused and subs thrown on for the sake of it. Only 7 points behind playoffs in a league that changes week by week. So shall have to wait and see.

The majority of Blues (sensible) fans know that this is the start of a long journey and are not stupid enough to think that we will go up this season or make the play offs. Good football and starting to build a team capable next season is what we want and anything more would be a bonus. I have spoken to a lot of Blues fans over the last couple of days and all have been genuinely excited about Rooney coming and will be right behind the new regime.
