What’s terrifying about ur clone trying to kill u is that your both equally matched in strength and endurance. However they get the jump on you which gives them a clear advantage. This movie makes it seem like the attack failed overall and a lot of people survive. But I feel like in reality the devastation would be so much worse. Other than like highly guarded people, I think most people would be killed if their clone attacks them at night or close to a late time and if the clone can perfectly pinpoint their location. The only reason this family survives is because the raspy voice lady had emotions and took her time. Every other clone family would just be like how the white family gets merked. Cold and quick.

Remember when talking about track and field how Gabe tells his daughter than runners practice in bad conditions and in result it will make them better when running in normal conditions? This is kinda like that too. The tethers did everything their above ground counterparts did but in worse conditions. It’s also why Umbrae is so much faster than Zora.
