Atomic Habits has changed my life and I never even read the book! Through hearing people such as yourself talk about it, I learned about how taking even the most miniscule action regularly will form a habit. However, the most impactful concept for me was habit stacking. Attaching some activity that I want to become a habit to a previously established habit like eating breakfast has made me as productive as I want to be. Also, I'm loving the grey hair and that particular cut!

Your editing and videos are getting really good. It's inspiring to see some of your old videos and then compare to where you are now, and seeing myself at that early stage and looking for ways to improve. I love your usage of B-roll that mostly isn't just stock footage, but rather they are clips of you actually doing that activity.

Wow! The 1:88 rule is something that should be taught to high school kids in a life skills class! Imagine what an impact that could make on someone with the potential to live another 45 years! We "graduate" our teenagers into young adults from high school, even from college, with *no knowledge* on how to be financially independent or how to become successful and happy! We needed changes generations ago!!!
@glacyneyla-lifestyle8 ай бұрын
Of course teachers in school will NEVER tell kids that! Don't spending money, don't work as an employee and be minimalistic and frugal is NOT what a presidant wants! 😅 People have to be employees, have to pay taxes and have to consume more and more and more because THAT is what makes a country rich! 😅 But it's okay. We need balance. All of this finance tipps only work because most people don't know them... If everybody would invest instead of consume, the companies would be broke and all of the investments would be lost. 😅 (Sorry for my bad grammar, I'm german ;) )
@rattlecat59688 ай бұрын
@@glacyneyla-lifestyleI disagree whole heartedly. Investing in companies and business helps grow the economy. The economy is much more complicated than I think you'd understand. It's not about *"the government WANTS it,"* but rather a strong and healthy economy is a MEGA concept built by *individuals' financial decisions.* Everyone benefits. Take an economics class. You'll learn a lot.

Because if KZbin I embraced a trident calendar system. Really crazy idea of a simple year calendar. And learned about “the second brain” concepts that I am working on now. Add in Nanowrimo, and next month, have it in my calendar, to set up a short book I have been thinking of writing for a while, to be the focus of my Nanowrimo challenge for November. And because it’s in my year calendar, I am not stressing this month the book. And because of second brain, I am okay with jotting notes for that future project. And because of Gabe, well, got someone providing positive vibes when I need them. And all I have to do is go to this channel. Thanks for all you do.

$1 invested for 45 years will only be $88 at an annual rate of 10.46% but $88 won't be the real purchasing power because of inflation and so more like $1 will become $29. And then 10.46% for 45 years is hard to get. SO after a more realistic 8.5% and after 2.5% inflation, annualized over 45 years $1 would become $13. Please let me know if that doesn't make sense and I'll explain in greater detail
@adrimathlener8008 Жыл бұрын
Inflation can't be rules out. But investing nothing at all, that $1 won't be worth anything anymore. Or maybe you buy something for $1 and keep and enjoy it for the rest of your life. That will be priceless and far out exceed the prognosed $88

Everytime I hear someone say 'invest in your twenties and you'll make so much!" it really makes me feel sad. I wasn't able to afford food regularly until I was 35, now in my 40's I can just barely afford to save some money (ten bucks a month) but I guess I'm too late for it to matter much. I hope a young person reads this and learns from my life. If your parents didn't set you up right (love you, give you enough food, keep you clothed) it's up to you to do it now.
