Gabriel , I was very pleased to see the sports group of skaters at the site you were exploring . They spoke very well ,we’re very polite, informed , and showed great respect to you ! Most called you “sir”. Someone is doing quite a good job of training those children ! I am a “boomer” from the USA, and were taught politeness , yes sir , yes ma’am ,no sir or ma’am . Not heard much now, but it is really nice to hear politeness and respect . One thing I’ve noticed is how clean some places are kept in some places you’ve been . Thank you Gabriel for showing us some clean places, even if they aren’t well off ❣️

Hi Gabriel, Nice to get out and see the area these temples are also like castles or small cities. Much like different Kingdoms around India the reason for their different languages or dialects is twenty-two separate official languages and a total of 121 languages and 270 mother tongues and home to the world's oldest language Hindi or Sanskrit. This vast cultural diversity accounts for over seven hundred different languages spoken in India.
@mihir1405
@mihir1405 Жыл бұрын
according to last census conducted in 2011 India has about 19,569 mother tongues, of which almost 1,369 are considered dialects and only 121 are recognized as languages (the acceptance criterion being that the language has 10,000 or more speakers). in 2001 census there were 780 languages and 1621 dialects in India. how come there are so much reduction in just 10 years time in languages and dialects! whatever the reason India is still the most diverse place on earth.

Yes, been to the south many times, here's a video of mine from there: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXO9hndugZyme7M I really can't say whether I prefer the north or south since they're so different and both regions have tons of amazing places to visit. Basically if you're going in winter then you'll probably want to head south since the weather will be nice and warm, unless you want to get the winter experience. Since you have three months you can do both. If you're flying into Delhi then I recommend heading up to Rishikesh, then head over to Rajasthan and make your way south from there. That's a reliably awesome route for a first time to India.

Just a small one dude-when you get to Kasol treat yourself to a meal at the Evergreen just down the hill near the bus stop. I had 8hrs to kill waiting for a bus to Delhi, had one meal there and stayed four days😂 Absolutely cracking charcoal grill & milkshakes. Have a look and see if you fancy a trek to Grahan or Rashol, both doable if you stay overnight and pretty amazing. Chalal is nice too but more of a stroll than a trek. I was three weeks in Tosh last Jan, -14°c🥶 but the Kheerganga trek is *epic*. Go for it if you can. Happy trails dude.

These are all tourist spots. He is not a tourist, he is a traveller. He is not here to see waterfalls or beaches or unihabited coral islands. He can see them in other countries also. He is in India to experience authentic Indian culture and people. Suggesting him to go Lakshadweep, Andaman and even north east to experience India doesn't make any sense. I think If he wants to see real India and have a unique experience, he should go to non tourist areas. I think he wants to go there but have some hesitation. These foreign youtubers, no matter how adventurous they are, they always follow tourist trails. I would suggest him to leave the tourist trail and go to non touristy cities or towns and talk to local people a lot more. He would have a lot more unique content there and those places are much safer than big metros and touristy areas.

@@khumaan268 I think you're mistaken, Gabriel can't get enough of beaches, only second to perhaps churches/temples/mosques/whatever other religious buildings. If he was really interested in the so called "authentic" experience he would have taken the time to learn Hindi, but he hasn't despite countless trips there. Yeah I'll check weather conditions and the best options for getting out there once I get to Manali. Most of the times in North India, they have a lot of affinity towards cows so usually people feed them so I guess some people let lose their 1 or 2 cows that they own freely. Maybe to save money and energy to graze them. Usually women before making meal they make one roti for cow and often feed one of the regular cows. Also the affinity towards cows decreases when moving Southern States. There are very less cows to be seen there.

Cows will eat anything. Usually posters and paper notices and bills because they are made from plants. Also plastics, wires, rubbish... It's kinda sad

I remember on my trip to India seeing all the cows everywhere, and also lots of goats and chickens! Very different from where I live in a big city in California! 😂I loved it, though. I chose India as a destination because I wanted to experience a culture vastly different than my own.

I'm sorry. I can't get past the fact that you left your big pack in a taxi with a driver you just met. You are a much great risk taker than I had previously thought. Now, all I want to know...is the guy still there waiting for you? Did he go through your stuff? The mountains are beautiful. I'm really enjoying this trip.

I vibe things out constantly when I travel. This guy was trustworthy. Also, I have him on video, and he was seen with me by lots of people at the gate of the fort. He would be risking his job and jail time if he took off with my stuff and would be easy to find. It wasn't a situation where theft was likely.

Not all cabbies are thieves. There is very little risk if you hire a cab from a Taxi Stand. This guy is known to the other cabbies and also to the police so, he will not do anything stupid.
