In El Salvador we don't use "station" but "terminal". You should ask for "la terminal de buses". Station is ussually related to train. And bus stop is "parada de buses"

You drank Salvadoran horchata, it's made with milk and morro (calabash seeds), peanuts, or coconut. I know it says it's a Mexican restaurant, but they adapt Mexican food to the Salvadoran palate. Chan is kind of like a strawberry lemonade with a touch of chia seeds. Hope you like our Horchata and had a great time in El Salvador!

Congrats on 600K! El Salvador is a very interesting. I loved the walk through the streets. Even if Ataca was a little bit touristic. I think I saw 2 or 3 tourists. Everything seems very authentic. I had students from El Salvador, so it made me think of them.

Another excellent video, thanks. Your camera captures every little detail on your trip, that is nice. The "horchata" you took it tastes like peanut, but it is made from the seed of a local fruit called "morro". I like to see that your very interested in knowing the history of each thing you see. I recommend you to ask the young people about something you want to know, because some of them speak English. Regards.

Hey Gab, I am enjoying your adventures in El Salvador. The gastronomy there is quite unique, don't expect it be identical to Mexico or any other country even if it looks the same. Horchata in El Salvador is made with a blend of grounded toasted seeds, including peanuts, cinnamon, sugar, milk and other things. Take care.
@robertoh.209 ай бұрын
it's Salvadorean horchata, the volcano, just go there yourself, you get to go in groups, you pay for a guide there, like 3$ (not sure) and then pay to climb it at the entrance too, you really don't need a tour guide, you'll be joining a group of people to climb it

In reality, the flower route begins in Ahuachapán, nearby there are several attractive places such as thermal pools, the lagoon and of course the central park, which is one of the most beautiful in the country . That area also has and produces the best high altitude coffee, in addition to being the largest national protected area in the country and is called the Central American capital of geothermal energy for the production of that energy That area has a very incredible coast, much better than El Tunco

In my footsteps. Ataco was my next destination after Santa Ana. I walked with my backpack to the bus station which was around two kilometers from Sole. The bus station was a bit tricky to find the last meters..haha. You went the exact same way the last meters. It was really the real deal 🙂Ahuachapán wasn't an easy word to pronounce. The local buses in El Salvador was a bit of a highlight, but like you said, it takes a lot of time to figure and to ride,. The bus to Santa Ana volcano was also a local experience. Ataco was so relaxing I was sad to leave it. I stayed in Ataco for 3 nights. Used Ataco as a base to visit the other villages. Ataco is really small and good for a day trip. It was a shame that the main square was under renovation. It looked nice. Had many meals at that mexican restaurant. Tacos were great.
