Great video Scott! It's perfectly normal for you and Even to run into each other - you both love hiking the Smokies and don't mind when its chilly. Love the double underquilt idea. Also, I do the water bottle on a rope trick too.

I really didn’t expect it to be him, but I did have a funny feeling that it would be someone that I know. That’s what made the whole thing feel kind of weird. That double under quilt idea kept me pretty warm. I love the water bottle rope trick. It’s so much easier than building trying to get the water. Plus, you can get water pretty easily off of the bridges

Thanks, Evan. It was great seeing you again. I’ll have to call you next time so I don’t mess up your solo trips. LOL. I really didn’t think I was gonna make it out the last day. I was probably going under 1 mile an hour up that 800 foot climb. I was hurting because I was sore from the day before. I was really praying hard that morning. LOL

I enjoyed this adventure Saline. Crazy running into Evan. It's a known fact that singing in the forest will attract Sasquatch. I'm sure you had a Bigfoot near you but since you are my friend, Bigfoot was only there to protect you.

Thanks, Steve. I couldn’t believe I ran into Evan like that. That was pretty cool. Yeah, me and you don’t have to worry about Sasquatch. We’re pretty close friends like that.

I really enjoyed this one. Running into Evan was great. I appreciate you sharing your faith. This was the loop I did on my first ever backpacking trip. The chipmunks at 29 got into my Reece's Pieces on that trip in 2009. I'm still salty! Lol. Be well.

I was amazed that I ran into Evan like that. Especially after having a feeling that I would know whoever it was that was going to be there. I really had a good time on this trip. I wonder if that was a chipmunk that got into my food bag now that you mention that. There was a squirrel running around before I went to bed the night before though. I’m glad to hear that you’re staying salty, because we are the salt of the earth. Matthew 5:13

I couldn’t believe that I ran into Evan like that. That was just amazing. It’s a little warmer in Georgia right now. Awesome episode Mr Scott.....That was so so cool running into Evan, really want to meet you guys one of these days...the mini sermon was awesome as well, good stuff..haven't been to that section of the park...looks great...have a quick question, what was that song you were doing on harmonica when you were doing that 1st crossing...its the start of some classic rock song and it just won't pop in my head what it is....driving me crazy...thanks for sharing your trip and have a great holiday...
@SalineScott

Thank you. That song was from the Ozark Mountain daredevils. If you want to get to heaven. It’s probably not a good song to go along with the sermon though. LOL.
