“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:8-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:19-20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

@@SalineScott I was worried that I might have freaked you out calling out your name like that, but I was star-struck seeing a KZbinr I follow! I'll see you again up there someday soon; although done with the 900 I'll never stop going up there! The Smokies are my playground! The Lord works like that, He brings believers together to help encourage one another. Your message is one of TRUTH and our Savior's love is found around every turn of the trail. Be well my friend.

@@jeffs6229 Thank you for the kind and encouraging words. You did not freak me out at all. I have met someone before that follows me on top of house mountain. I think it’s pretty neat to run into people that follow you. We will have to get together sometime in plan a trip and have a Bible study around the campfire. That would be pretty neat

Thanks, John. After yesterday, I am so glad to be back home. I had to hike out in the rain this morning, but it wasn’t too bad because it was only 3 miles to the car. I did not get a ride, so I had to do the road walk yesterday and when I hit Panther Creek Trail, it was so steep I didn’t think I was going to make the last mile of it. That is a tough climb. I did not get to the campsite until a little after 6 o’clock. I was so tired so I set up camp, eat, and went to bed. I did not sleep that good from where I was so tired though.

Thank you. I was excited but a little scared when I saw the bear. He was about 75ft away from me, but as soon as we saw each other, he took off. He was so fast I almost didn’t even get the little bit that I caught of him. It was a great trip though. I can’t wait to get back out again.

Saw where you came over to my channel so I'm retuning the favor. Loved your point about your watch phone and scripture, that was a great lesson. The scenery was there and it's wonderful to hear you sing while walking in God's creation.

Great video Scott. I was at #13 Saturday night and ran into Nathan who was at #16 when you were there. I made a video of my trip and posted it. We need to do a trip together soon. God bless and happy trails

That is cool. Nathan has a lot of good tips on backpacking. I subscribed to his dad and had commented on his channel and he told me that he camped out with Nathan at campsite 13 the next night as well, so I’m guessing you met his dad as well. I think it would be pretty neat to get together with you sometime and go hike. I’ll be sure to go and check out your trip

Hey, thanks for the informative video. I am heading down for a 3 night trip from about ten hours away early Thanksgiving week and I want to see as much as I can and have never been to the park before. I plan on starting at twentymile trailhead and going to cs 12 then looping up by Cades cove onto rabbit creek and probably stay at 14. Would you say it's a decent site? It looked fine somwhere else someone said it sucks lol. Then I'm going to head back down by gregory bald my last night. That rabbit creek crossing is going to suck in late November Haha.
@SalineScott
@SalineScott 2 жыл бұрын
The Abrams Creek Crossing On the rabbit creek trail is down by the Abrams campground. The route you’re talking about I would probably stay at campsite 92, and then go Buy campsite 13 and take a right and go down the road walk and then come back down to campsite 12. After that I would continue down that trail and back to campsite 13 and then go down to campsite 95 to make a figure eight out of the trail. If that sounds confusing, my email is on my about page. Send me your phone number, and I’ll call you and try to give you a better description.

@@SalineScott thanks for the reply. If I decide to do a shorter trip I'll do something like you said. But it looks like if I head up from cs12 to parson branch rd I can take that up to the rabbit creek trail where you started and did that water crossing right?
