That technique to eliminate tearout when drilling the headstock is beyond clever! Did you come up with that idea?

Err...yes. I just think it's one way. You could also attach another layer of wood prior to drilling to the back, which is what I also do sometimes.

Nice job as usual, what's truly the difference between neck joint whith mortice and the bolt on , it seemed to me that in case of neck adjustment your system wille be more handy . Keep on going

It's no varnish but Tru Oil.
