THIS MUSIC VIDEO MADE ME CHANGE THE WAY I SHOULD LOOK AT THINGS!!! Im in a Christian band to but the people dont show or do anything until we do something cool which bothers me so much. This song has helped me change that I dont need to change for the people but instead worship the Lord with or without the people and worshiping with my heart. Thankyou Gable Price and Friends for making this amazing song!!

Thats a classic entertainment dilemma. Trying to stay true to yourself without loosing yourselves to the expectations of the audience. But at the same time trying to have a sense of, and to meet, the audience expectations from a place/space, where what you want and what the audience want, adds up into a higher unity/purpose. Theres an interesting phenomenon where the artist/musician, through their craft, can become a vessel/medium for something higher than themselves. It involves setting ones ego aside, and to let the craft/art/music speak for itself, through the artist. And to have a sense of whatever it is that may be needed in a collective sense. This is where we sometimes hear of an artist proclaiming that it felt like that the song was written by itself, and that it just came to them in an instance. This is also how inspiration works.

For the first time a noticeable band from my country (DR. sorry 4 bad english tho) noticed me as Guitarist. i've received the call from above to work on my ministry... which is worship, but the people i love wants me to stick on an office job with cool salary.. since im getting married next year... it IS hard.. i discovered this song (and the band) thanks to my Best friend harold and this song always makes me burst into tears... Have some guts kid.. This is ministry keep it up guys ❤ Edit: i made the decision of work with the band, left my job with the cool salary, but i'm earning more than i did with my old job, working for the Lord, already traveling across latin america and now to the states... I had the Guts ❤

I think it is meant to show how kids in church youth group love to go to fun events that youth group pastors set up (like throwing a ball at the dunk tank), but when it comes time for more important events of spiritual significance (like baptism), the kids don’t show up because they aren’t interested. Since baptism and dunk tanks both involve putting someone under water, it is a good comparison of what kids will show up for (dunking the pastor to have fun but not to be dunked themselves as a sign of their spiritual growth and belief in Jesus). It is sad how youth pastors try so hard to show kids that they need to believe in King Jesus, repent, and follow Him, but then the kids only want entertainment and not actual relationship with God. The pastors try to bring kids to Church through entertainment, but then it frequently doesn’t work to actually get them to listen to the important stuff.

The first time I heard this song. I was blasting it full volume in my car just rocking out, then that bridge broke me. I had to pull over it hit me so hard. My best friend had just walked away from the ministry and much of his faith so ot was a real God send. I still get a bit teary when I hear "have some guts kid this ministry.
