Hello everyone! New original song!
This is the first one that I share since I did my original album Crystal Moon back in October. It took me a bit of time to get back into the groove of things after that one I think.
So what exactly is this song and why did I do it?
First of all, I think this is more of an intense battle cutscene theme than an actual boss battle theme. The way I saw the scene in my head while composing was... The song starts with and hopeful melody (which will come back at the end) where the commandant/squad leader finishes to give his troops the motivational speech telling them they'll reclaim the capital they lost to the enemy etc. Then, the big metal music starts as they rush down the hill on their horses, charging at the enemy. That goes on for a bit but then the mood suddenly change when they realize that it won't be a piece of cake as anticipated and many of their friends die right away. From there I just kept the intense battle feel going until finally you hear "hope" again through the melodic end sequence I wrote with strings leading the piece.
I hope you enjoy whatever this is!
See you next time!
