@@ZelM-hz1ob I adore Dr Gabor Maté To me he is an Earth angel! But he is too "nice" about the rotten to the bone Politicians who enable & those who execute Genocide & ethnic cleansing! Being traumatized is no excuse for pepetuating these horrors towards a defenseless people! There are not enough heroes! When Susan Sontag was asked WHY she thought the Holocaust was ever possible she anwered : “10 percent of any population is cruel, no matter what, and 10 percent is merciful, no matter what, and the remaining 80 percent can be moved in either direction.” Humans are alas so opportunistic & choose the "easy way out' of their higher Self, their conscience! Gideon Levy, to me, is a brave, courageous man, a Jewish HEROE,but he needs many more heroes to help him to wake up that 80% of corruptable humans in his country!!! Gaza occupies my heart too! We all fail as humanity watching a Genocide going on, "live" on TV...It is soul-destroying! Meditating on Peace & Justice for mankind 💔🙏🌿🕊🫒🌎

You should also listen to Miko Peled as well as his sister Nurit Peled. These are Israelis who speak for Peace and understanding, against the actions of the current government. Also Gideon Levy, Simone Zimmerman, Norman Finkelstein, Amira Hass. There are many Jews who understand and feel for the suffering of the Gazan and Palestinian Arab people. We should never generalize about a whole people based on the actions of some of them . Added comment: there are also young Israelis who are refusing to go into the army (as required when they graduate high school) because they don't want to take part in what is being done in Gaza and the occupied West Bank.

@@josephtein3835 I know😭We the Muslims and Arab Christians never hated the Jews..We've always lived together until the British Crusaders entered and killed the Jews not only of Palestine but the Jews of Europe...And today The Jews are doing to us what's been done to them once in history...And instead of taking revenge from those that hurt them they are taking it on us...Worse those that once tortured the Jews, are today repeating the same thing torturing us through the zionists.

Admired Gabor Mate’s work and now admire his courage. As a Muslim faculty recently I was told by the administrator that my service wont be required next semester. While teaching world view I was discussing unity based world view and asked the students to watch a video that focused on both Israeli and Palestinian journalists coming together talking about peace. This led to parents of one student emailing the Dean and ranting hiring a racist and antisemitic faculty like me. And despite having high evaluation scores from 99% of my students, that one student and her family pushed the Dean to tell my Chair not to rehire me again in SUNY Brockport. They didn’t even ask to hear me out and decides based on my religious background. Sadly, this is what America turned into. A backbone less country led by cowards who no longer allow us to practice our first amendment.

Of course, the peaks of this pyramid want to hear these complainers ; how else are they to maintain their jobs. By this method of management they show the funders the necessity of employing them as gatekeepers and controllers of the narrative. Remember this has nothing to do with truth but the sacrifice of alternative voices or opinions. In this case, you are picking up the tab. It's their loss. Eventually they will be uncovered. People may stop sending children to institutions which are sequestering them toward narrow minded, mono-thinking and the evolving limitations. Jump for joy. You can think. They are in jail.

I had to have a colonoscopy a couple of years back, when the colorectal 'consultant' said I need to do a rectal examination, I panicked and went into 'meltdown' - I froze, I said no, no, no, I was badly abused as a child and started to cry! His answer was 'I don't want to know'! If I had that time again I would have said 'You above all people should know that the gut is the 'second brain' connected by the vagal nerve'! And walked out! After all I went through there was nothing wrong anyway.
