Amato was some player, if you had legs he was putting the ball through them and scoring, I mean how many players did he nutmeg, superb player who knew what it meant to play for the famous Glasgow Rangers 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍

Loved Amato, some swagger on the lad. Didn't have much pace but had an abundance of skill. One of my favourite players and very underated.

I miss these sorts of Rangers players and teams. The teams I grew up with were so good. With Tavernier and Goldson I have always felt like I was watching pretenders. I know they have tries their best but they just aren't winners, not like these guys were in Amatos day.

If he had pace he would have been up there with the best of his era .technically gifted amazing skill and a good finisher.. but unlike canniga a fellow Argentinian who had scary pace guy was lightning fast but he didn't have the touch or flair of amato give amato canniga pace .. he would have been playing for Ac Milan or Barcelona was a skillful gifted technique wise different class.. great player underrated

Amato was up there with de boer, in individual quality. Game on game he was average
