Amazing duet! Very expressive pianist with great staccato notes. When Fauré wrote down this piece I guess he was planning it for the clarinet. The clarinetist made round, sad, and beautiful low notes that move us. The whole performance was nice, but those low notes on the clarinet at the very end were nocturnal, mysterious. Congrats.

We played it in a mandolin orchestra and it is such a beautiful piece of music. Heard it yesterday in the radio with a choir - it moved me so much, I had tears in my eyes.

Nicely done. Would love to find this arrangement. I like that it features both the Clarinet and the piano. Most arrangements treat this piece like a Clarinet solo with accompaniment. Where can I find this arrangement?

Tom Filipiak thank you! The arrangement actually doesn’t really exist because the pianist and composer Sergey Konstantiov (with whom we performed it) has taken the arrangement for flute and added some material live during the performance, so it’s in part an improvisation))

Did you use the version for flute and piano, because that one is in Fis minor as you play it. The version for clarinet and piano as I found it on IMSLP is in d minor.

Thank you, Sabine! You're not the first one who asked for the score, but I'm affraid to disappoint you - the score didn't exist. Sergey Constantinov took some random score for flute and piano and made his own version without writing it down(
