Gabriel Load carrier Shocks | Install on Ford Ranger

Hey man I bought a 98 ranger recently. The shocks aren’t too bad but I’m still replacing them, I also got some leaf springs because the passenger side was cracked in half 😆 but I just got them today and most likely will be replacing them this weekend I just want to know how you feel about the coils/shocks because my Ranger has the stock shocks as well. But yeah man good stuff thankyou

Ive been pretty happy with the added coil on the back. Might be alittle stiffer over stock but when I do have a load back their is when it shines.

You put them in the right side up. The bottle should go down, because the seals will always leak a little. It the bottle goes up they will slowly lose their oil over time. Just put some on my Frontier. Much stiffer, but they're making up for the 24 year old leafs.

I bet that those upper shock mounts decide to become bananas and split from the frame.😅

Are the Gabriel shocks a little longer?

Seemed to be the same length, maybe a little longer then the stock ones but not by much.
