Yeah I read an interview with Richard and he said when he read about the finger snap, he told the director that it would remind everyone of Supernatural. He said the director just smiled and said "I know". I think he was a fan too :)

someone should make a fanfic where Gabriel ambushes Sam, Castiel, and Dean while they're on a case, lock them in some random room, and won't let them leave until they drink 20 Pepsi drinks each. and everytime they try to go to the bathroom, he pours Pepsi all over them. then after, they have to go against the other Pepsi guy. if one of them wins, they get to meet Snoop Dog and eat his food. losers get thrown out a window.
