Glad to hear it! I love the pressure fighting. I found it was really throwing high levels boxers off when I sparred them. Then I started implementing it in some fights.

@@GabrielVargaOfficial, sorry to ask such a self-centered question but I'm 31 with a military background and just finished my first year training Muay Thai here in the states, would you recommend any specific avenues for someone my age who is interested in going pro in Muay Thai or Kickboxing? I'm fairly sure it's too late for me to consider that kind of shift in my life but it's a question that's been nagging me. Thanks so much for your content. I look forward to watching your next fight, Cheers!!

Gabriel, your situational awareness is great! If I am interpreting correctly, at 6:56 you did not go through with the spinning back/hammer fist because your opponent was too close and it might have been an accidental illegal elbow. Not sure if I am correct, but this is what I perceived. You are an honorable fighter!

One of the best strategies I often see from mayweather do vs southpaws is to close the distance and takes away their southpaw familiarity with right handed fighters away by squaring them up up close. Now you you are on equal footing with familiarity of opponent. That is the only southpaw advantage. Take it away and they often are.not quite skilled as people think

I'm probably not the best person to give you advice, but if you study Rob Kaman, you'll notice that he depended upon certain strikes to come and was able to beat his opponent to the punch much of the time. I believe that this was him going beyond training and technique and beyond strength and speed, to a level where it was a game to him ... a sparring match between friends without holding back. I have no professional career but have been in more than 140 fights in my life, and when you can relax to that point during a fight, it's like time slows down and you can literally "know" what your opponent is going to do before he does ... and it's no longer like work, but more like play.
