I love how the neighborhood in this game ACTUALLY felt like a real neighborhood! Many games can't seem to nail the feel properly when it comes to that. It ends up seeming very artificial, with you being able to tell you are just stranded in a block of buildings masquerading as a full world.

What an unexpected crossover from my two favorite youtubers! 7:21 and 30:28 His name is Dmitry Kuplinov, he has channel Kuplinov Play. Developer of this game made another game earlier but it is less than two hours so many people played game and made refunds in Steam. Kuplinov spoke against such kind of behavior so in his next game (September 7th) developer featured Kuplinov as easter egg, final “green let’s play” is actual video from his channel. Main character also called Dmitry, Dima is diminutive form. Pa-pa-pa-pa is traditional Kuplinov’s intro and yours pa-pa-papa is very good.

I'd just like to comment on the excellent tiny touch of the moths/insects that were darting around the light in the street at the start. They didn't have to add that, and most people might not even have looked up and seen it, but it definitely added a bit of atmosphere and life to the scene.

i think that ending idea was really really cool. it took the whole "oh it was a bad dream" to a new level because it tied in new technology and interests for people. the streamer was playing the game the whole time. instead of most just truly being a dream and everything's fine

Speaking of messing with dreams: I fell asleep during a stardew episode and dreamed about an old lady who needed my help with something. Suddenly she burst out "yay pumpkins!" Or something like that. It was something about pumpkins either way and it was your voice. I thought it was weird she sounded like you and then I woke up. Also, having cartoons in the background when you sleep can make you have weird and nonsensical dreams.

2:28 it's a classic soviet toy called nevalyashka (similar to western roly-poly toys). Almost every kid here had one, and it looked EXACTLY like that one. First scare was pretty good, the woman and doll being almost hidden but always in sight was a nice creepy vibe and i loved the people being wrapped the most. Just a mean way to show off their kills. But overusing a jumpscare is never interesting, specially when it's used the same way, and nothing really happened in the game. Pretty nice overall tho, and the graphics were pretty great for a simple horror game. Cheers from Brazil :>

Why did everyone and their mom in eastern europe have that clock on the wall? If I were to loose my mind and had just one memory left of my childhood it would be that giant watch. it speaks volumes on how accurate the details are in this game
