I would really like to build this, though I must practise soldering first. Can I ask you about the size of it? How high is it in cm. I need to concider if I can get it into my stereo furniture. 😂

Is the IanCanada #93F assembled and tested FIFO Re-clock Streamer compatible for this project?
@Gabster1Ай бұрын
Yes it is It has a extra card HDMI pro card that is not needed but useful if you like to run another commercial I2s Dac

Why not socket for opamps after TDA1541?
@Gabster1Ай бұрын
The OPA 861 is not compatible with most opamps they also run on 5v instead of 15 and have special circuit designed for them You would need to create your own IV stage and bypass them the board has provisions for that.

I'm trying to find such a 6 cap ultracapacitor balancer PCB that you used in your 15V psu build, but I can't find it.

Thank you Gaby for all the knowledge that you share on this wonderful hobby. I am building the TD1 DAC and streamer. just waiting for my boards to come in. I’m also in the process of renovating my stereo cabinet and I want to make sure I have enough space for the TD1, can you tell me how tall is the total stack as you have it on this video?
@Gabster1Ай бұрын
That is awesome as it is it measures 6inches or 15cm tall but you can split it in 2 as The Gabster TD1 stack can be on the side then you have 4inches and 2 inches Hope that helps. Would love to hear how you like it.
