I stopped watching AI when she didnt win. This performance was flawless! I downloaded this and still listen to it frequently b/c she is awesome. Still waiting for her record deal!!!!! She ALWAYS chose hard songs and killed em, so why didnt she win again....was it carrie....AI is so predictable. I forgot, they had to pick of a different persuasion that year!!!!!

Funnily enough, this is when I got fed up with the show as well. I frequently listen to Vonzell's performances still today. My mom had me make her a CD of all of her performances as well. My parents condo is in Fort Myers, where she's from and they would go to American Idol viewing parties all over the city each week to cheer her on.

Looking back at 2021: Having witnessed her performances in this season, the way she performed better and better from the audition till the finals, I was surprised to learn that she's the only one not getting a contract from any label from that season!
