Whether he's bi or not, in a way, Gackt and Lady Gaga both kinda solidified the concept of bisexuality for me since even though I was half exposed to the concept before the age of 16 when I was into them, it never fully dawned on me that you could have feelings for both sexes. Fast forward to now, I'm bi and I'm ok with it. Only out to a couple people in my family and a few exes from when I was questioning irl though. Still.

I'm not sure if this is exactly a live tv broadcast or if it's just a thing they have with each other but hearing an open minded response (not surprising by Gackt but the others) and such an "odd" question from a person who was genuinely concerned, really makes me think that Japan might be changing. +Skylightica Hey, I'm happy you picked up on that! It was a tough decision to make on how to phrase YOU's question. You are right about what docki-doki means. It's literally the onomatopoeia for the beating heart, in this case... from being around that friend. But I made the choice to express this phenomenon in such a way (turned on) because it's in line with the theme and "Does she make your heart race?" isn't what YOU really wants to know. I believe he's asking Minami if this there is a desire within her of the sexual sort when he is asking if hear heart is going doki-doki. That's why I went with 'turned on', instead of 'heart race'. But either way I think would be right!

I really appreciate these translations... But I have to disagree with Gackt. I think it is different for men and women. Men tend to be able to enjoy physical moments and move on without thinking about it. But women tend to be more emotionally attached and it does become awkward if someone crosses the line. Just IMO and from watching things like this happen and friendships were ruined afterwards...
