Seeing these videos makes me sad. The stupidity, ignorance or complete disregard of the law of these people, because of their selfishness. Inconvenience others with no respect for the safety of other people. Put jail time for repeat offenders, or put a hefty penalty like in Singapore. Our government can raise funds quickly with these stupid people.

If the national or local government are really serious in getting rid of hazzards (illegal parking, illegal dwellers, illegal build, etc..) on their streets, they have to think outside the box rules/laws to implement that deal directly with the problem on hand. One way is to train and deputized groups/teams of people to focus in consistently enforcing the laws. That's everyday, rain or shine including weekends. Once the area is clean, the national or provincial government will also form a group of lawyers to prosecute barangay officials who neglected their duties to clean up their areas of responsibility. If the laws are apply consistently without any preferable treatment, there would be more than enough money to collect from law breakers to fund an entire batallion of law enforcers and lawyers. What do you think?

The blatant violation of the law of these people is inexcusable. Illegal parking, illegal structures, illegal vendors and drivers who don’t have papers to drive. They are menace to society with this kind of disregard of the law. The baranggay is useless as always. The chairman/chairwoman should be held accountable for the neglect of duties. A lot of people really don't seem to think the MMDA will impound their vehicle. Often they'll hold out until the very last second, before they comply. Sometimes they leave it too late, because once the towing process has started, they won't stop anymore.

GA has been uploading MMDA videos for a few years now, yet in most videos there are often people riding motorcycles without licenses. We don't seem to be trying to get to the root cause by not selling to individuals without licenses and just depending on their lack of road use knowledge to be caught by an enforcer.

I don't think it's a lack of knowledge, because they know a license, helmet and shoes are required. They just don't expect to be apprehended, because outside of special operations, those kind of things are often ignored. MMDA enforce the law, they don't make the law. Even if you manage to force dealers to look for a license before selling the bike, I can guarantee you that it many people will just ask their friends to buy it on their behalf, or they'll buy a used motorcycle. Is it still worth imposing a requirement like that? Yes, maybe. But It won't be a magic overnight cure.

The children's safety on motorcycle act of 2015 has some pretty expensive penalties. But ultimately, many enforcers won't put those more expensive violations on the ticket, because they feel bad for the weight of the penalty on the parents 🤷‍♂️

First, all these motorbikes that supposedly have unlicensed drivers. I conclude some may have, or had a license in the past, but still have unpaid tickets. Secondly, I hope dealerships are being strict with sales and selling only to licensed buyers.

But many of them really say they never applied for a license and that they've been planning to apply 🤷‍♂️ There are plenty of people who got a "new" license, to avoid paying for their old tickets. There are penalties for double license, but I've never personally seen it enforced against anyone.

Usually they'll tweak their details just a little and apply for a new license. The violator won't actually tell the enforcer that he has a double license.

The driver's license employee should be able to find any unpaid fines and deny the applicant. We both know it would not happen in the US or UK. Any case, it would seem it could happen in the PH. Ang magiging problema kapag hinila mo ang trailer na iyan ay ang paghinto nito sa traffic. Ang bigat ng trailer na iyan ay siguradong itutulak ka niyan pag ptrno mo at lamang na lamang na maka aksidente ang humihila niyan. Sana alam ng driver ng TOW TRUCK ang ginagawa niya kung sakali na hihilahin niya itong trailer. Sigurado ako sa aking sinasabi dito.
