If an enforcer met an accident while apprehending a violator like for example, they are already waiving for the driver to the side, yet he ignored it, an additional 300% fine will be added plus reckless driving and automatic deduction from payroll for medical expenses of an enforcer. Abvious naman na sinita na pero gusto prin umeskapoz kaya no choice enforcer/s kundi lumapit pa lalo thus making the risk of an accident much greater.

Why is MMDA not deputized by LTO?

Many people would say they don't really need to be. Because they have their own authority which serves the purpose. But according to a recent hearing in the Senate or Congress, MMDA did try to get some of their enforcers deputized by LTO. It might happen in the future. Although with the way things might be heading, with the potential for the scale to be weighted against the enforcer, I wouldn't be surprised if many enforcers would prefer to simply avoid issuing tickets. MMDA enforcers get paid the same whether they issue 1 ticket, or 100 tickets. So if issuing tickets is going to result in headaches, it's quite likely that many would simply stop writing them.

​@@johnarat9618the trip ticket (or equivalent) would typically come from the hospital, LGU or the dispatcher of the ambulance. Generally speaking, there would be an assumption of regularity. So unless there's something that is obviously out of place, or another reason to question the legitimacy of the trip, it would be assumed to be genuine. That's my personal interpretation of what I've seen.

yung mga sasakyan kailangan magbayad para matubos lisensiya nila. Yung mga motorcycle driver siguro ang mga di nagbabayad, alam mo naman tayong mga pilipino - "bahala na". Kung ire-renew na lang siguro mga registration o lisensiya saka sila mapilitang magbayad. marami nga diyan di na nirerenew mga registration o walang lisensiya.

It is a heavier penalty having to pick up your license, its a case of the process is the punishment. The LTO Compound at East Avenue has dreadful parking with most of it occupied by employees. You line up to line up to line up to line up yet again. A process that should likely take 5 minutes ends up taking an hour. I had to pick up my license due to a speeding infraction and in total between driving there, parking, actually paying and picking up the license and going home it was about 5 hours. I was guilty of speeding no questions asked. The fine was minimal and paying it was not really an issue but the hours spent dealing with the LTO was incredibly frustrating and while I don'[t agree with people who run or make an officers life difficult at the side of the road I do understand why. There is no reason to not have fine payment online, there is no reason for there to be multiple lines and for this to be a long process.

I am supportive of busway. I suspect MMDA purposely does not want to put barriers in order to catch violators. Absurd? Well, put up barriers and let’s see. Safety is not an issue since there are barriers in this modern world that are less susceptible to accidents.

@@RR52517 the whole thing had barriers before, check my old videos and you'll see they still caught a lot of violators. It's only on the flyovers and tunnels that the barriers had to be removed for safety reasons. They tried.bollsrds but the problem is that people literally drive straight over plastic bollards. They also tried metal ones but those kept getting knocked down too (mostly by accident). Sometimes a little self-discipline is needed.
