I don't understand why this guy doesn't have his own full-length stand up specials. Geek humor is sooooooo rare. I'm not talking about "let's make fun of geeks and nerds by putting them down and just shitting all over them" type of geek humor. That's what Big Bang Theory is for. Ever notice the people who like that show are NOT geeks and nerds? It's the average person laughing AT them. This guy uses legit "nerdy" humor and it's glorious. Any semi-geeky person should be able to watch this and just appreciate it. I've yet to view one of Don's videos and not laugh. The dude has a direct line to my nerdy funny bone and that is SO rare. He's like the Bill Murray of dorks and I wish I could meet him IRL.

"I can solve this but I am not allowed to" - as a fellow engineer, I feel you. A former girlfriend actually made it into a proverb: Don't bring your problems to an engineer - he'll try to solve them for you. (Yes, we drove eachother nuts. That's why we broke up).

The women also need to learn to accept solutions sometimes. Relationships work both ways.
@crowbirdy6 ай бұрын
The problem is that a lot of the problems you tell your SO are not solveable like that, they're just feelings you need to vent about to another person about. Ex: wife saying she feels fat, exercising more and being less fat isn't necessarily going to fix feelings, that's why there are lots of eating disorders. It's also really annoying to be told solutions when you've already tried them multiple times and it hasn't worked

The curtain for under the bed is the dust ruffle. It keeps dust from getting under your bed and forming massive dust bunnies. If you have carpet, the bunnies are really hard to remove because most vacuums can’t reach under a bed. My bed doesn’t have a dust ruffle, but thankfully I don’t have carpet, either, so the dust bunnies are easy to remove.

Love this guy! I'm fortunate enough that my wife doesn't do the "many pillowed thing". Tangent: I'm only conjecturing here, but I think the curtain, "skirt" I think is the actual name, is to reduce "dust bunnies" from forming. Again, that is just a considered guess. Either that or it hides all the junk that gets stuffed there. Lol. But conversely, since the multi-pillow thing is about looks/appearance, maybe the skirt is just a visual thing as well. If there are any "linen aficionados" who know the history of the skirt and/or multi-pillow fashion, pls enlighten us all. Thx😀

I still don't get why most women literally don't want help with their problems. My theory is that the patriarchical society disrespected them so much that an offer for help is seen as an insult. I see this with my wife very frequently. It's hard to understand because you don't expect women to have a different culture. Though I do believe that the more we break the patriarchical sturture of our society the less pronounced these difference will.
