I use an iPhone, but I looked up to Samsung for their innovations since the Note and later the Fold. But it seems they are just slacking since the Fold 3. Китайцы накинули цифры и тонкий корпус, после чего все купились ))) Но кто хотя бы близко бодошед к гарантии samsung и one ui для складных устройств ? У iPhone тоже туго с инновацией, но его не за это любят, так же как samsung - лидер продаж не только складных устройств до сих пор

Samsung battery are notoriously unreliable, I own S21 to S23 none of the battery lasted more than 2 years the battery always swell up . Not to mention the Samsung note 7 which was recall due to explosion.

You got it wrong as well. Specifially they both have the very same protection against water (8), while for one it is specified a protection grade of 4 against solid objects, which is pretty much irrelevant as it may be intended for the outer crevices such as USB port, speaker etc. This is a TLDR, if you want to undestand read below. What you say about protection 8, when used as second number, is correct (though not complete). About protection IP48 you messed with the numbers. Number 4 indicates the protection against solids with a thickness above 1 mm. The protection against splashes as you said, is a protection grade of 4, yes, but when indicated as second value (i.e. IPx4 or IP64 etc,). The first value is ALWAYS the protection grade against solids (from 0, no protection at all, to 6, total protection against dust). The second value is ALWAYS related to water protection.The X instead of a value means the manufacturesr doesn't take it into consideration and/or that it's not specifically tested for that protection (i.e. IPx8 is testest against liquids, not tested against solids, while IP5x means it's tested against solids , but not agaist water). Note that water and dust are very different as water runs aways and dries out (when not submerged of course), while dust stucks and moves into the phone crevices and can penetrate over time even when water doesn't get inside. Dust protection on consumer electronics is often not specified. Ergo, they are equal.
