I own both, Honor global and Vivo Chinese. I put the Honor back in the box after a couple of days. Vivo is better for me personally in all segments. Better screens, better speakers, battery, ergonomics, cameras.

Vivo has "secret" mode too. Android Auto is rolling out on the Vivo. Vivo may have stylus, but no one has tested Vivo's pencil. Honor does only offer it via a special stylus, so don't act like this is any different. The weight difference is so small that you could barely detect it in hand. The screen is actually the same aspect ratio and since it is just a little bit smaller it's actually not the same weight it is actually slightly narrower. So cases with the kickstand similar to it are cheap, it does come with a nice case though as does the Vivo. While the vivo does technically have better cameras and 10% better battery.

Don't know anything about the Mix Fold 4 (not interested, really) but I know for a fact there are pros and cons for both Magic V3 and Z Fold 6

Switching from Samsung to Honor V3 felt like jumping 5 years of new Samsung "innovations", so super happy with the Honor. But I will take a close look at the Vivo when the new ones come out next year, although the thinness is amazing and I do not want to miss that again, it feels like a smaller and lighter phone then the S ultras from Samsung. The pen works also well, which is a major plus for me.

Hey AD! Quick suggestion, when comparing the pictures of both devices..it might be best to put both images of the same lens being used e.g main lens Vs main lens, UW Vs UW, Zoom Vs Zoom. In some of these it looked like it was a main shot Vs a zoom shot so it's a bit harder to compare in that scenario. But regardless, great video aslways! Keep up the good work man! Despite vivo using Zeiss lens technology, but all I’m seeing is how much better Honor image quality is with their self tech camera. The sky appears more natural and the clouds are vividly accurate. The colours are also more natural and image sharpness is better with Honor. My only concern is lowlight shots. Vivo uses bigger camera sensor, so is it better than honor during lowlight shots?

Also keep in mind the Vevo is new so the crease will be less noticeable than the honor just for the first 3 days

I would love to be able to buy the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, BUT I live in Argentina and there is no way to get it here, it's a sad reality from Chinese manufacturers, and a sad one that is what Samsung is abusing to keep making subpar phones that sell mainly because a lot of users don't have other choices to pick from. Anyhow, great vid, as usual. LONG but worth it.

Well, there is a huge negative of the Honor Magic V2 and V3 that never gets mentioned. The hole on the inner screen will be within your 16:9 video in landscape. Need to watch in portrait, which is okay, but you lose a little video size in portrait.

Stayed until the end. Can you do a similar review with the global variant of these two phones? Also compare the feel in the hand(ergonomics), mention call quality(can the call volume be increased during a call?) and whether either phone can capture pictures of moving subjects mostly blurry free. Does any have a call screening functionality like what’s present in Google Pixel/Samsung phones? And note whether the native Android visual voicemail functionality works.

great video purchaseda v3 from ad tech store..the 1tb white variant and it's a beast in every department.........had the option to go for the vivo but the lack of STYLUS support for the vivo meant the clear option and winner is the honor magic v3 been using it to the max ....editing game play and uploading etc my s24 ultra isn't even getting a look in lol shout out to average dad and my fellow honor Magicians lol

​@@jodaniel2361 the battery life is good, easily get a full days use out of it and that's with constantly editing videos of gameplay and uploading to various social media platforms and with the charger that's comes in the box the fast charging capability it doesn't take long for it be back at 100%. camera quality in low lighting - it performs well, in fact I've taken pictures in near total darkness and the pictures came out great and they can be tweaked as it has a number tools to do so but I leave it generally.I'm happy with its camera performance (of the rear / main camera in low lighting.... if taking a selfie in low lighting use the rear camera and the external screen mode together) screen brightness/use outdoors - erm as I've got a s24ultra which one of the main reasons I purchased it was for the anti reflective screen I tend to used that for sat nav when the sun is feeling rather menacing lol However day to day use even when walking the my dog the my magic v3 screen is decent and I never struggle to see any pics I've just taken or reading messages etc outdoors its better than my previous magic 4 pro which I used as a holiday phone I even put a screen protector on it aswel and the visibility is still good from all angles. any other questions about the v3 please do not hesitate to ask hope this helps

Magic V3's hinge is not great. It will not hold at all angles and will flop down at some angles. That's a deal breaker for me.

it supports stylus as well..i did use it alot on my samsung S22 and use it with my samsung tab...but for the V3, i may skip as the purpose of usage evolves for me! and it would be a hassle trying to get a bigger case holding the pen altering the look of this little foldable beast/beauty ...i use the case which came with it as i recall the last time i ordered a chinese phone which was huawei years back, after a few days i dopped it and got a cracked screen... the black V3, which i have, can be slippery, so it is recommended to use the case which comes with it which is actually very useful since it can become a stand! i have not used the vivo but once honor was announced, the decision was made...
