Sadly yeah for rich ppl too , i had 130$ phone for 3 and half years and now have a new 180$ phone for about half a year , i could never afford 700$ phone and not after my current phone becomes at least a bit more used , my parents would never buy me one that expensive , i can only🤤 dream and drool all over all the red magic 8 pro reviews and unboxings i watch , but i know theres poorer people than me who even an 150$ xiaomi phone can't afford so ig i am still quite lucky having this xiaomi redmi note 10 the last half a year i used it

This would be way better in tablet form. Personally, the 'gaming' tag is purely marketing. Once na masilabasan na rin 8 Gen 2 phones mid year, magtatalo na lang to sa price, max storage, and camera quality. For this price though, it's pretty competitive. That alone makes me want it if I were in search of a new phone. Worry ko lang dito is the LTS. How long will the manufacturer support this device in terms of software updates? Anyway, hopefully Xiaomi releases an 8 Gen 2 on their next tablets. Otherwise, 8+ Gen 1 would suffice especially since emulators are quite good these days!

I'm considering this next to ROG 7 ultimate just for the pricing reason, but then i can still spare some extra bucks for the rog and probably would choose that over Redmagic, for these main reasons; ROG has a higher refresh rate and has the AeroActive cooler which benefits a lot for extended hours of heavy gaming, plus it has a mini subwoofer and an additional USB-C port slot at the bottom which is ergonomic when used in landscape rather than having it sticking out to the side. To top it off, i would always choose the one who's been in the industry of Gaming for years, ASUS has already established its name in this territory and they wouldn't compromise for anything. Hats off to the new guys in town for trying to compete while being affordable to the masses. Nevertheless, this redmagic is a great phone.

Still, if you use ultra refresh rate, ang performance pa rin nya is parang High/60hz lang. Parang nagsasayang ka lang ng battery and pinapainit mo lang ung phone mo. Yes, even if you turn on ang ultra refresh rate and may fps meter ka, mag sh-show up is around 100-120fps pero yung performance nya is parang naka-high lang yung refresh rate.

I also like the placement of the headphone jack which is placed 2 o clock side of the selfie camera, which is the most optimal position for the 3.5mm jack for right-handed gamers. As opposed to the x4 gt, where the 3.5mm jack is at the 10 o clock position of the selfie camera.
