Gaea - Terminology & Intro

Summary:
This video will start to take a look at what concepts to understand to help create digital environments. How understanding the Biomes of our world and basic elementary geographical terms will give us a edge on creating environments in various software. As well as a very quick and brief introduction into terrains in Gaea and how to export them for use in Unreal, Blender or Maya.

Nice workflow for texturing you got here! Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Do you have any plans to create a tutorial with Gaea to Unreal Engine workflow? The video and pdf does a nice breakdown of the gaea node system, but I wish you went more into the through process of texturing multiple material groups like in the beginning of the video, you kind of give an example desert/rocky look and then jump over to a totally different high mountains landscape that has snow grass and exposed rock without showing what the process is there.
