Been a fan of this band for a while and can't wait for next album. It will be interesting to watch them as a four piece now. Apparently the singer had left. One of the guitar players stepped up.

Fuck no 😭 the vocalist was such a badass 😭 have seen live stuff from 2022 and questioned me why they are now four piece now. Have hoped the guitarist left and the vocalist take the guitar but have the bad Feeling its the other way cause the vocals have sound realy different 😭 fuck!

Gaerea just played in VOA (vagos open air) as a last minute substitute for Sylosis. Unfortunately didn't see them. Saw the first and third days of the festival, which was great by the way.

maybe you'd like to know. the correct pronunciation sounds like in latin, the first two vowels it is diphthong, which is read as one sound «æ», and «ea» sounds like separated vowels. so it is «gærea».

I saw fire and I was already into it ! Gaerea is one of those bands that I stopped listening to, because I'm not much into black metal nowadays..but yeah.. I was thinking of behemoth and this band has all the potential to become one of my new favorite extreme metal bands. I love how melodic and aggressive they are, also how theatrical, and the vocals..yes!! he knows how to make you feel something..whatever that is..

I mean, Heilung is an actual German word, for healing. Also when it comes to Gaerea, I have been listening to the song "Laude" so much that I have the pronounciation of "We are Gaerea" pretty much stuck in my head :D

You did react to Null from the previous album already… don’t remember what you said about it but let me tell you something, let me tell you something ok… Black metal, I always liked the sound but wasn’t a fan of some of the racist aspects that came with the genre, instead of trying to decipher who is or who isn’t I’ve just walked away from the genre. Post black metal came around and I could listen to bands with a sound I love, guilt free… but I didn’t , the music scene was dead on arrival for me. Enter GAEREA, I’ve heard a snipped from metal injection or some other YT channel, the song was “Urge”. . . Dudes I have fallen in love in seconds or less. I have listen to the discography on Spotify right away. The first album is good, the second better… Limbo, the last record is a… I don’t know what it is but is fantastic and deserves attention by any metal fan. The whole album no matter if you play it from first to last song or shuffle it it deserves undivided attention by whomever is listening to it. I will not rumble on about how great GAEREA is but know this much, it revived a genre that was dead to me with a single chord, it made me to pick up a dust collecting guitar to learn how it play it (not that I ever be able to play anything from them), it made me want to play the drums again, it made me feel the vocals, something a band never does… apart from Muse, never mind muse, hate or love them but you can feel the vocals… If everything else fails… is a band I have bought a t-shirt from and the last time I did was 20 years ago and are doing the same now with other bands I am into but also bought the vinyl, something I can’t play because I have no player. The band not only revitalised a music genre in my but also made me support them and other bands. This is the power of music…. This is GAEREA!!!

I oncestayed in Tomasz' (Nyktophobia singer) apartment, and together we went to a Vader concert with Dawn of Disease as the opener (back when they were shitty) and to a concert of Hypocrisy, Kataklysm and several other big acts. Now here's some trivia for you that's not even slightly worth bragging about. 😂🤷‍♂ There's another German band called Nyctophobia, by the way. They're from Baden-Württemberg, though.
