Gaia gps led me to the old stone lined well!

In this video I was checking out a location I found on Gaia GPS and it lead me to a site with an old stone lined well. To me this site looked very old and as you can see what we pulled out of the ground that proved to be true. This wasn't the dream site by any means but it just proves the value of old maps and the right apps. The grass in the area was super tall so i'll bet there were better signals to be found but i couldn't swing my equinox very well. I was very pleased by the what my cousin was finding for sure....it just wasn't my day, lol. I hope you all enjoy the video!

Thanks David, I think i'm going to start including "some" trash to show like you said, authenticity. I had an closing clip but my blood sugar was running low and i must not have gotten it. I like to do a wrap up with the junk and good finds.

your cousin found a barn door roller that goes on top of the door to the barn. look for flowers in the area. that will tell you were the house will be at and give you a good location of the front yard and back yard. then you can look for the garden area.

Thank you. I think the house site was about at the top of the hill. There were rose plants in another flat spot which could be the house location but its further away from the well. The location was highly over grown so i might wait till possibly next fall also because the rattle snakes are out and that is a bad area for them. Thanks for the tips. i usually look for ivy, tulips or any other flowers in an area or other signs of a homestead.
