Tools Used
I used a free digital art program called Medibang Paint Pro to do most of the drawing, and then exported the file to Photoshop CC to make the final colour adjustments. If you're ever on the look out for a really awesome and easy to use digital art program I really highly recommend Medibang! It features a ton of awesome brushes and supports a lot of the basic features that digital artists need u I'll have a link down below to their website!

FAQ
How long did this take?
It varies! If it's a five minute long video, then between 3 to 4 hours. If its between 7-10 minutes, it was probably a bigger piece which can take anywhere between 10-15 hours.
Where did you get that fur textured brush? tinyurl.com/yd3te4sk
Where did you get the flat brush?
That one's from the Medibang cloud (click the little cloud shaped button with the arrow at the bottom of box with the list of brushes). There you will find all the additional brushes made by Medibang - plenty of gems to download and test out.
Where did you get all these brushes and textures from?
They're from a mix of stuff! Some of them are made by other artists and you can easily find them just by typing in 'medibang brushes' or 'firealpaca brushes' into Google. Some are brushes that I made myself. Some are actually Photoshop brushes! You can import most Photoshop brushes into Medibang by downloading an ABR Viewer. Since most Photoshop brushes are in the .abr format, you can use the program to view all of them and convert them into .png files. Once you've done that just click and drag the brush image into the Medibang brush list and you'll have a new brush to play with!
You can find most of the brushes I have just by doing a Google search. Please give this a try before asking me for specific brushes! I really don't have the time to answer all the questions I get :)

Got some notes: - Block in below lineart roughly, as usual... - Add a multiply layer and shift to shadow using Ctrl-U - Erasing from multiply layer for highlight effect - Add airbrush micro adjustments to the multiply layer. - Airbrush highlights with overlay layer - Add another multiply layer to clip and adjust HSV - Adjust original layer levels - Ctrl-E combine all color layers to line layer. - Paint over lines and stuff - Fur below is darker than fur above

Just came across your channel! Your speedpaints are so cool. Just watching this video, even though you're not explaining anything verbally, I noticed some really cool techniques that you use while painting. I've been struggling a lot with painting backgrounds recently, but this really inspired me to try out some of the techniques you use in the video (like drawing plants through selection and then just filling them with a solid colour). This is by far my favorite piece by you. Anyone who has watched your beginning videos would be able to tell the massive amount of improvement you have made as an artist and it is especially well expressed in this piece. The frustrations of trying to watch these but the lag causes the video to keep playing even after you've pressed the pause button so that you can go put your arrogant bird to bed whilst he's falling asleep in the living room but doesn't want to go to bed so you miss half of the video and have to wait half an hour just to go back to the beginning again.... my life ran away from me years ago, I swear.. Amazing, as usual !! The leg poses are quite fluid and look natural, although the tail (from my standpoint), looks a bit stiff. Maybe it's because of the way the water splashed up, but it still looks wonderful. Also, quick question, where did you find your texture brushes? (RockTexture, Soft Moss, etc.) I've been looking everywhere for something like them but I can't find it. Is there any way you could point me to a source ?

actually the overall technique isn't all that different from my regular process! i was still painting over the sketched lines, but i just decided to go for a more refined sketch since the character/pose was a bit more complex ^o^ it's good to start with a stronger foundation when i'm a little uncertain at the beginning of the painting~
