They also had a new RG Nu Double Fin Funnel Type A Nu Gundam variant if the Nu was completed. It has a new head, chest, shoulders, skirt armor, gun, new attachment points from the backpack to the fin funnels, new shield connector, new shield, etc. Gundam Base exclusive tho.

The wiki did say it was sortie incomplete with Amuro in CCA but there was no wiki infor until now i am guessing of mention of what the actual CCA Nu Gundam would of been like if completed. This isn't the first time where RG decides to release the successor design first before the predecessor: the RG Destiny Gundam came first before the RG Force Impulse Gundam 8 years later. Also the "covers" you mention, including the ankle armor movement, is really just the Shining Gundam engaging Super Mode - the HGFC Shining Gundam has the exact same features too. For the 30MS kits you've "lost track from", they're from the franchise's long-running collab with The Idolm@ster: Shiny Colors.

With the Requiem Zaku kits, from my understanding is that they're more akin to the Maganac Customs where it includes a Zaku Solari with the parts to replace for the other Zaku's in that set. One of them includes 2 variants and the other 3...so a thing of buying both of those and 4 Zaku Solari's to make the full set.

I thought this too but with the listed prices it seems like it would be two full bodies for both. The one for three variants would include two full bodies and extra parts to convert the retail Zaku.

There is a "MG 1/100 GUNDAM ASTRAEA + PROTO GN TWIN BROAD BLADE" on Premium Bandai now. It's the white one and it comes with the combining blade the Metal Build's high maneuver expansion set comes with but it uses the GN short and long blades as handles inside of them instead of their usual handles. They also put up red version of the mg with the visor and the plethora of weapons as well as the hg gn arms and the MG Avalanche Exia on pbandai. It's a shame they seem to be selling lots of Exia oriented stuff but not a 2.0 mg. I swear the most common mod I see on kits is the lengthened thighs. Why don't they just make it already. It would be cheaper and quicker than making a different MG from scratch since they can reuse some molds from the other 3rd generation 00 Gundams. I realized at this point I've been waiting for a proper 2.0 for over 10 years at this point. I never thought when I bought the Metal Build Exia that I would be waiting this long 😂. Here's hoping we get by at least the 20th anniversary if not sooner.

@@DX16 Yeah on one hand it's only 3 years away. On the other hand the total amount of time since then is just so much. I just want it to fit in with the others to be honest. The reason I didn't get the RG Exia is because the front skirts actually inhibit articulation of the legs which is just unbelievably ridiculous considering Exia doesn't even have a lot of complicated things going on design-wise so you'd think they'd at least get that right. It sucks especially because all these new variants are going to be outdated very quickly unless they take special care to make them backwards compatible which they might considering the Narrative's psycho-plates are backwards compatible with the old regular MG Unicorn. I'm not the most confident in the new MGEX being Exia because I feel like the lighting would be the most obvious "extreme-point" that could be marketed but they've done that already with the Unicorn. However, it would make sense to make articulation the selling point of an MGEX Exia. I did finally cave and buy this new Astraea + Proto GN Twin Broad Blade though because of the FOMO. If MG Exia 2.0 does come out, I could possibly merge them. I'm hoping that there will be plenty of spare parts beyond what was shown like with the Red Astraea Type-F. A white Astraea or an Exia with the visor would be cool. I believe the spare parts are likely because it has essentially the same price as the Red Astraea Type-F (assuming $1=100 Yen which is how Bandai likes to price things regardless of USD/JPY conversion rate) and that had a lot of spare armor parts (and from what I heard Bandai prices kits by plastic mass).

This exhibition is not part of bandai's routine announcements (which usually happens mid 2nd month to early 3rd month of a season). We can probably expect more information on the RG shinning in nov/dec, and if they do drop more info this year, the kit will probably be a Spring 2025 release!
