ceaseless got banned in wild because holy wrath paladin was so consistent and powerful that they were only 3 decks: even totem shaman, secret mage, and combo paladin Edit: I guess me facing a bunch of even shamans is an outlier. I ran into like 6 in the same day

False; all Mage decks were viable because Ice Block(counters Holy Wrath) is in EVERY Mage deck, and Demon Hunter& Priest are faster than even Shaman.

I mean... That's how bans in Wild tend to work. Card gets released > Is broken in Wild because Bli$$ard forgot the mode exists > Gets banned Normally, the card gets banned in Wild until it rotates. In this instance Ceaseless is being banned until they fix the Holy Wrath combo (Which is most likely going to be a nerf to Order in the Court or Holy Wrath)

@@SuddenReal That doesn't do anything to stop the Holy Wrath problem though. Since the entire problem was how fast the Holy Wrath deck popped off. Which would be so fast that Ceaseless would still cost 80+ even in deck which is still enough to easily OTK basically everyone by turn 5.

Ceaseless is a horrible card in every scenario except for two: Combo paladin, or control v control matchups. One of which is the reason it got banned and unsurprisingly, it's not because control v control matchups happen very often in wild.
