I cut my hair almost a month ago and as soon as I cut it I knew I wanted it shorter! That following week I went to the barbershop, So here I am with a buzz cut! I feel more beautiful with no hair than I did with a head full of it. I was one of those people that thought I wasn’t going to look right or my head was TOO big but this suits me well and I’m happy I did it ✨ sn: I was binge watching YT videos and you were a inspo 😭❤️

I’ve cut my hair three times really short. I got so many comments that were negative mostly men saying if my wife cut all their hair I’d leave them so mean right.? Or calling me horrible names. The first Time I was bald I felt bad for awhile like I’m being judged. But after some time I loved loved it so much. I owned it. It made me feel free and beautiful. I hope more woman do it.

I cut mine over spring break. My salon lady just grabbed the scissors and went to work. She didn’t allow me to hesitate because she knew I’d tell her to stop.

I love short hair cut my hair last month and will never let my hair grown out again. I do though pay attention to keep my skin clean and fresh along with by brows.

I just recently cut my hair, first of all the barber did nothing like the picture I showed him.. so my hair is super short and I've had short hair before probably not this this short and I looked good. I don't know if it's I'm pregnant and my face looks wide or swollen lol .. I'm not a big fan of it right now I cried right when I left the barber shop and the whole night lol plus I wore a beanie to sleep ahah, I'm over it now but I just hope when I give birth in June my face slims down a little lol.

I always advise people to go sites such as pinterest.com and Instagram to preview styles. Doing that will give an immediate confidence and motivation to head straight to the barbershop.

Honestly Janai you are glowwinngg ✨✨. I remember when I cut my hair back in October, I was able to express myself much more freely, my confidence grew and I became less self-conscious ☺️♥️♥️

My hair gives me the blues 😩 I want to cut it so bad but 1: I have a chubby big face, 2: I’m not sure of my head shape under my hair, and 3: I’m big and tall 😭 the skinny Minnie thin girls with snatched cheek bones look cute but I feel like I’d look like a lil boy

I've had straight hair down to my waist for almost...Ten years now? I think? And recently, I've had the urge to cut it short again, just to about shoulder length so I can still pull it back in a ponytail if I need to. I know what I'll look like with short hair and I don't dislike it, but it's still a crazy change to suddenly have short hair again after so long. What you said has helped me out a bit with my fear and indecisiveness, helping me realize that if I just have that confidence to step out of my comfort zone and really rock the look, I'll truly grow to like my hair at a shorter length, and if I show that confidence, other people will really like it too (hopefully, lol). Thanks for posting! I really want to cut my hair extremly short but the people around me always talk me into not doing it and bring my confidence down ;; they say my hair is too thick and stuff or they dont even let me go to a hair salon in the end. I guess i gotta seem more confident!

Im prob cutting my hair today at my mom vowel renewal bridal shower thing (a hair and nail women is coming)so as long as i keep up my confidence i will be having my first haircut ever and i wanna say ty for the confidence.👌😊😊😊😊😊😭 Edit:update um so i cut and im so happy it came out better than expected and my mom krpt my braid for my baby book. It looks smaller than i imagined but hey im very happy although my consciousness keeps going in my head saying things like"was it really a good idea"or"does it even look good" and i just tell myself "yes its looks good and yes it was a good decision" and keep smiling. I need some advice, hopefully you can help me. I did shave my hair back in November last year and it's growing but still very short and even though I have I made a video on my Instagram about me having confidence and all I'm still struggling with my confidence with my short hair. And one of the main problems why I have this problems because I have acne on my face and I have peach fuzz when I shave it does not look right and when I don't shave it I still don't look right. And so it's kind of hard for me to go out in public with my short hair because some people have to question my gender and is sucks and it pisses me off. so I'm trying to see how can I get over this problem. I'm struggling with how can I really gain my confidence? Please help. BTW love the video

I’ve cut my hair so short like literally just about one inch of hair...I’ve always had long hair but I never felt beautiful with long hair ...I know it’s just hair but when I cut it i felt so free and happy like finally this is who I am and I felt so good in my own skin...But it was really hard as I’m from Sri Lanka and there they have this stereotype of long hair ..People would make mean comments and they’d always say they liked me better with long hair...well I didn’t give a damn or at least that’s what I thought..but those comments really did affect me and made me feel a insecure ,now I growed it out again and it’s pretty much past my shoulders...But you know what now I’ve the confidence to carry that pixie and I’m gonna do it for myself and not for anyone else...I love pixies and I know I just gotta know how to style it and I’ll be able to rock it🥰☺️

I know this made a long while ago but I have a mom who LOVES AND LOVES my curly hair and before I cut it off with scissors during quarantine and I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I WAS SO HAPPY but she was NOT she told me that if i ever cut it again she was gonna yk do something and so I let it grow and I hate it and like I’ve cried and cried and wanted it shorter and I feel I wanna talk to her about it now that I’m you know 14 that I should have a say about what I want so should I talk to her about it or just leave it?
