Amen Reid! I have never been wealthy financially nor do I want to be, I’ve always been lower-middle income. I’m grateful for that because I can’t tell you the plethora of things Ive learned to do on my own because I didn’t have money or want to pay someone to do it for me. Wealth can be measured in many different ways.

Just to be pedantic- one reason to not want more people to participate in something you love is to not have those people ruin it. I love living in a rural county. If everyone tried to live here, it'd be an urban hellhole.

Give the urban folks a chance, they'll turn it all into worthless parking lots, empty husks of what were buildings, slums, gehtos, and huge industrial parks. Been watching it happen over the course of ten years. The acceleration of urbanization here started with cities stealing ranches & turnining them into lakes, then charging the county to house the lake while refusing to allow the county to use them as a water source for us-because the cities have to water their asphalt. Then started the housing developments, and with them came sky rocketing property taxes- the devolopers started charging city rent rates on tiny plots so everyting became more taxable overnight. Now they're talking about packing 3200 housing units into an area where one house has stood-and if each unit has 3 people, it'd increase the county's population by 30%. And that's just one of the devolpment companies. I'm watching the whole process, from a decent rural living area to what its becoming.. when too many people try to live in one place it's always a mess, gets worse, more expensive, and more dangerous with every step. And it all started with idiots begging for someone to pave their perfectly fine gravel roads

Reid, this is a wonderful lesson that I have been reflecting on lately during my pursuit of building my own financial independence. What is the point of financial independence if you are wasting the talents God has granted you? I also need to remind myself that life is happening right now. Life is not the future. Life is now. So, there's always the struggle as a man, husband and father to balance the living in the moment with the preparing and working for a better future. I also appreciate your sentiment of focusing on what's truly important and remembering yourself throughout your own journey. Even in my "Conservative, "Christian"" circles, I struggle to connect with anyone who is focused on what is truly important: God, family and community. Everyone is so distracted and mesmerized by the modern bread and circuses (whether it be the mindless "entertainment", escapism through pornography, drugs, junk food, video game, fantasy worlds, or the POLITICS! Joe Biden did this, Joe Biden does that. What about your own family? What about your local community? How can we encourage our friends and neighbors to focus on real life, not the media spun parade on the "news" and Facebook? Everyone seems to love the hamster wheel they are running on, whether it be their low-paying job, their kid's endless sports practices, their latest social media funny meme or TikTok video. More and more people are losing their own personality free of media influence. No one is perfect, especially myself, but I think those of us who are able to recognize the lies we've been sold about modern society, work, Federal Reserve, fractional banking, money, and especially religion need to speak up, share our ideas and lead by example. The future has the possibility to wonderful. Find your strength in God and do what he has inspired you to do. Recognize your talents and utilize them. Thanks for sharing your thoughts in this video. I am optimistic for the future. Small victories add up.

Thanks for the good video on a very important topic. A person should be taught to build that inside job of the kind of person you are of good character. Some people who reach "there" and you can see they are afraid someone will eclipse them. NOT TAKE IT AWAY, but succeed at a higher "level" than they reached and make that "level" you reached look less important than you want to believe you are. Yes, when you believe you are the level, not that you reached that level, but you make yourself that level, so it becomes something you will try to keep above all else.

As a retired RN, I still HATE full contact football, but I acknowledge that it has a place in our culture. It doesn't really matter if you Personally hate something. What matters is whether or not the thing YOU hate is "good" for someone or something else.

I know that folks say it constantly, but I'm not changing. I changed a long time ago. Now, I would rather die than give up what I have become and what I have done to get here. Most folks only say it. I BREATHE it. I BLEED it. I will never stop outright advocating for general firearms ownership. If you're unclear about what that means, that means that until you are dead, regardless of what you have done, unless you are currently in prison on a conviction; you are fully and completely allowed to purchase, own, carry and operate a firearm regardless of the place you are in. I realize that will rub some folks the wrong way. BUT I'LL SAY IT LIKE THIS- You're either for being a slave, or for being free. There is no compromise where this is concerned. None. Period.
