This song wasn’t written by Adam Crabb’s father but by Mark Mathes, a minister in Springfield, Missouri. I remember this info because the Vocal Band performed it live for the first time in Dallas, Texas. Bill Gaither announced that the writer of the song, Mark Mathes, had driven from Springfield to hear the performance. I’m originally from Springfield. It’s a beautiful song that touches my heart every time I hear it.

Thank you, Lyle. This song has a real message for everyone at times in their life. At 6:44 and 7:30 there is a frame with a beautiful lady in a red dress with flowers and long dark hair, That is Joey Feek. At the time of this taping she was living with cancer that soon after took her life. She and her husband Rory Feek sang together. She left Rory with a daughter, Indiana, who has Downs. Knowing her struggles and her absolute faith makes this song even more real to connect with..

Please everyone, pray for me, because I trust The Lord Jesus always, but trusting human beings, there is no trust. It is to long to explain why in this comment section, but I will say from my own husband and our children, who are grown adults and other family members, there are lies, adultery and abuse and I am suppose to take it.
