Mr Phelps, I was in charge of a youth group at church (7th & 8th grade) and we made a PowerPoint of pictures of the the youth group, the church, nature, etc. and told the story. I came to a realisation upon listening to this song which could be taken one of two ways. The more positive way for most people reading this comment is: I am an atheist, always have been and most likely always will be, but this song gives me chills, goosebumps and shivers every single time I hear it. That's just how good it is, it still reaches even those who don't believe in God or gods. The less positive way for most people reading this comment is: it's not the greatness of God that is making you feel the way you feel when you watch this video. It's the composition and the performance of this extremely talented individual and the band around him. The feeling of rising power and love within you when you hear this piece of music is nothing to do with God and is everything to do with the physiological responses within your body at hearing such dramatic, incredibly performed music. Take comfort, my dear, God never loses any of His children, but He firmly holds them in the grip of His mighty nail-pierced hand (Ps 41:10). His hands were not pierced in vain, nor without purpose or intention. Likewise, He instructed, “If anyone wants to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross every day and follow me" (Luke 9:23). He was our example, showing us why he called himself "The Way," and why he says to us "Follow me." In Romans, Paul tells it straight, we are "heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, *if indeed we suffer together with him* so that we may also be glorified together with him." (Rom 8:17) I'm at the end of the first half of my life, and I've also struggled & suffered more than most. But I've learned it's the concealed & hidden path to glory!!

I think Gabriel took Lucifer's place as the leader of the heavenly choir. No human--even in heaven can match the voices of angels. We only know the best singers on earth today--we have yet to hear the matchless voices of angels. What about God's singing? We don't deserve it, but what a loving, merciful God we have. I just lost my mom. The only way I can deal with it is knowing we won't be parted for long, and the fact that she's now in his presence, where she so longed to be. Idk how people who don't believe handle deaths of loved ones, with no hope. I'd be in a rubber room if I didn't have that blessed assurance.
