Hi all
After struggling to find a turkey last year we managed to get a young turkey this year just in time to show you for the festive season! This is going to be our last video for the year so we want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
Ingredients
3 kg turkey
Marinated overnight with
2 tbs olive oil
2 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp paprika
2 tbs chicken spice
sprinkle of mixed herbs
salt and black pepper to season
Rosemary and thyme
Stuffing
Garlic olive oil or normal olive oil
2 extra large onions, chopped
6 cloves garlic
fresh thyme
Chopped parsely
salt and pepper to season
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp stock powder - 250ml stock
4 slices bread, cubed
Turkey liver
2 sausages removed from casing
2 boiled potatoes, mashed and seasoned
For roasting pan
3 carrots, chopped
2 large onions cut into eights
Turkey neck and giblets
salt and pepper to season
garlic butter to stuff under skin
1 tbs corn starch to thicken gravy
hot sauce and Mrs Balls chutney
Serve after resting for 10 to 15 minutes. Add roasted vegetables, mash and garlic bread.
