Quick And Easy Basic Biscuit Recipe

A simple 5 ingredient biscuit recipe to bake before Diwali or just for afternoon tea. You will need:
2 cups flour
1 cup maizena
1/2 cup icing sugar
225g margarine
Jam to top.
For chocolate variant add 5 tsp cocoa powder.
For custard variant use 8 tsp custard powder

I’ve always made these using a nozzle and pressing with my finger. Actually using one’s finger is much easier than using a bag as it becomes near impossible to pipe the firm-ish dough through a bag that’s filled up.
