The best demo of this amp yet. Probably because he knows how to dial in good tones. It is fantastic for what it is.

I've had a Line 6 Spider HD100 for over 10 years now. No pedals needed, ever. You just plug in and play all day. You don't need a room full of different heads, cabinets, mics, and pedals with Line 6, all you need is your favorite guitar, or 20 favorite guitars, lol. Every guitar player friend of mine who's played it has gone out and bought one or wants one. I'm buying this so I can have a small amp in my office instead of pushing a giant stack from room to room. I've been playing since 1992 and I've owned every type of amp, from 1960s Marshall Plexis, to the 5150 head and combo, every type of Peavey head from the 1970s (I still love my Peavey Standard head with a distortion pedal), a bunch of Fenders and a gaggle of Crates (the Blue Voodoo head with the handwritten script was amazing!!) but no amp touches my Line 6. I found this Line 6 Spider V 30 on Amazon for $219 with free shipping/returns...how can you go wrong? A full studio full of tones for under $220? Sign me up!!

Great demo...it's a shame people blast it based on misconception : Line 6 didn't develop this as an onstage metal/rock machine. It's made primarily for practicing and the built in drums/metronome are ideal. I've got n Axe/FX, Line 6 Helix, and an old Digitech GSP1101... this little amp is awesome for it's purpose!

Worst thing about this amp is the power off button on the backside . And the fact you have to elevate it , to play with the dial knobs , to get your favorite tone setting …. But it works great !

Fender and Line 6 like to use clever titles for their patches. For instance, Fender has a patch called "Pasadena Phaser" which is (surprise, surprise) an early Edward Van Halen guitar sound. I am guessing "Arachnid Rhythm" is a nod to the sound of Bowie's "Ziggy Stardust" recording. The tone is unmistakable.
@JohnRidersoldoutforjesus5 жыл бұрын
If you get it, you better get the 60 and above. If you can afford it you want the 120. But the 60 is good if you don't want to spend that. You can hook the 60 to an app on an android tablet that will make it a lot easier to function. With a lot, you can do with it. And the wireless adapter is great for someone who plays a lot and does not want to mess with all the cords everywhere when at home. Just turn it on, grab your guitar and jam. Rock on!!!

Ok..... I am getting back into playing after a 20 year hiatus. I learned on and always played a 12 string acoustic but always wanted to play an electric. I found an old First Act at a garage sale for $50 (it came with a volkswagon car and it would play thru the stereo of the particular model so it has VW inlaid in the neck and the knobs have VW on them and the VIN number of the car it was sold with engraved on a plate on the back of the headstock. I have been messing around with it on a POS Silvertone cube. Sounds horrible with a hum included! So I just picked up an Epiphone Les Paul standard. Beautiful black fiddle that I refuse to even plug into that little POS amp I got with the First Act. So I have been trying to pick an amp and learn about the world that is the electric guitar. When you start down the beaten path and begin to put 2 and 2 together on what is available and the endless amount of add on's, it gets to be almost more than one person can absorb. I really like this amp and at this point I am still training my ear on the subtle changes that can be made to tweak the sound. I will probably never use 75% of the amps capabilities until I get a couple thousand hours under my belt. I am really trying to stay positive and trying to learn things one at a time. There is so much information out there that it gets a little overwhelming at times. I just hope that I could be 1/2 as good as the guy doing this demo because WOW! Great video. I read all these negative comments that guys put out there about all the different amps that are available but to a total suck ass newbie that is just starting out and really really sucks on the electric guitar this amp gives me more options to show how bad I really am. LOL I am going to Guitar Center and see if they have them and the cost at the overpriced store that Guitar Center is. I might just order online. Wish my sorry ass luck At 51 years old I am gonna need it!!! The best part is I get to torture my wife because I cant sing either! Peace!

I just found this model at guitar center 2 days ago. A new one was $220,but I got the open box floor model for $119 and it looks brand new. It has a ton of sounds for the price and sounds great to me. It also has the potential to plug into your phone or pc to update or record with. If you havent already you should totally pick one up. Good luck
