just curious about the tank job..arent the ducati decals on the sides of the tank on the sixty2 imprinted directly on there? did it have to be smoothed out somehow before getting painted? looks so sick!!!

That was acutally the problem and I didn't want to ruin the original paint. So i think they put a layer of vinyl wrap to sorta flatten it out, but you can still see it if you look closely. It's not so seen in video or photo.

GakiMoto Does the trimmed seat make it more uncomfortable on your butt on longer rides? Or have you riden it enough yet to be able to tell? Looks awesome! Good footing is something I just got used to not having on most all my sport bikes and even some of the larger cruisers also the last almost 25 years of street riding. I'm on the lower side of average height (at least for American guys) at 5'7". I was always strong enough it didn't really matter, but having a low seat hight cruiser now (Honda VTX1300C) has shown me new appreciation for being able to have both feet flat on the ground...haha

Oh! They only trimmed it on the sides. So, still the same padding on top. The seat is something I wanna work on still. Going to a seat maker next week or so. Oh and I get your appreciation for having both feet on the ground. :)

Nice ride! How is the upkeep cost for the Scrambler Sixty2, preventive maintenance? I am torn between this and the Kawasaki W800. I'm on the small side, so the Scrambler Sixty2 would be a great fit for me. However, I fear about the maintenance cost. My previous experience with a Ducati was the dreaded upkeep cost, specially comparing to Japanese Bikes....

Ilove the sound of your new exhaust and the mods Lots of Wow! Watch out with blacked out lights though had an experience wearing a tinted face shield and someone also had blacked out tailights (car) and when my face shield fogged up after a rain I could not determine he braked and i almost slammed into him at 100 kilomets per hour! I personally dont trust any lights blacked out.
