How are you supposed to gather that ending? Do you have to let Chiru and Nanako both go to Heaven and Hell like in route B for both of them?

Yeah, you're pretty much doing their route B at the same time. I'm not entirely sure if there is a cut-off point that will prevent you from reaching the Harem End, so I'll just share what I did. Got the Risu End unlocked and continued to play. Did all the side quests for Chiru and Nanako until I got to the point where their Heart Mission appeared. I then completed both of those side quests in one day, and continued their stories from there. After they both left, I went back home and the prompt for the Doki Doki Ending appeared. A Kurona boss fight mission will show up, but completing that will get you a B ending, so don't do it.

Considering that Grim Guardian has Nanako with the seal AND Chiru in the uniform, it seems that this ending is the canon one. So in other words, the timeline for Gal*Gun should be as follows: First game: Whichever ending would result in Patako's exam being a failure (so possibly a bad ending). Double Peace: Maya's ending, since we know that Shinobu doesn't marry Houdai (Dr Kamizono, Copen's dad and Shinobu's husband, was given a description (namely, pale hair like his son's) that is nothing like Houdai's) and that Kurona is on good terms with Maya in Gunvolt (in a Drama CD, she states that she's on good terms with the head of the family (which is Maya)). Second game: This ending, since it's the only one where Chiru goes to school and Nanako has her seal back.

Not so. There’s a timeline split that goes three ways at Double Peace. -Shinobu Route = this was the canon planned by the Goddess and nothing of note seems to happen due to Houdai managing to keep on script -Maya Route = due to Maya and Kurona becoming fast friends in this version of the story, Kurona manages to pass her third year of middle school (I think) with human-level gag pranks and thus Gal Guardians doesn’t happen (as the game’s plot hinges on Kurona bombing her make-up test and repeating the third year); Kurona’s friendship with both Kamizono sisters subsequently stands the test of time and it leads to the Gunvolt timeline due to Shinobu not hooking up with Houdai -Sisters Route = dialogue throughout the game points to Shinobu and Maya engaging in a healthy OT3 with Houdai with all three of them being openly in love with one another, as romancing just one sister means the other buries her feelings to leave the other two happy Side note, I’m kinda leaning to the notion that the canon romance for Gal Guardians appears to be Chiru A. The side quest to make Houdai horny has Chiru mention her doing some research with Pheromone Z. For science. Chiru Ending B and Harem Ending don’t involve her doing a dedicated field of study, while Chiru Ending A gives her permanent residency on Earth under the pretense of researching Human Studies for Heaven. Because why else would would a lazy gamer and mechanical engineer like Chiru need Pheromone Z for literally anything else?

I'm not entirely sure if you need to have already seen both B endings in order to get the Harem ending or not. As for how to get the Harem Ending, it's pretty much similar to their B routes. After getting the conditions for Risu's ending, you then reach the point with both Chiru and Nanako where they both leave. A Kurona fight will show up, but you don't need to do that. If you go back home, it should tell you that you unlocked the Doki-Doki Ending and you can skip to the final day.
