Why was this video recommended to me? Oh, yeah: because I watched a Boss Rush from Grim Guardians: Demon Purge (great Castlevania-style game, btw). I must say, though, I had heard of the game, but written it off my mind. Oh, well, one more item to add for that Steam sale. I need the laughs, don't care about the rest, have been a gamer/anime viewer for 2 decades now, so I'm pretty much vaccinated against almost all weird sh*t Japan can dish out... for the western market. This is one of those games that should have a label saying: "Welcome. Don't forget to leave your brain in the lockers by the door". But sometimes we need that kind of game when burned out of the better crop of Inti games, or are waiting for their next installment (love Blaster Master Zero trilogy and all the Gunvolt games).

bruh what are you talking about, pcgaming wiki says Choice between 30 FPS and 60 FPS gameplay. Dialogue sequences, boss battles, and menus are locked to 30 FPS

This is really interesting! 60FPS was missing both in the demo and the full game at the time of review, but I can confirm that it was just added to both the Shooting and Doki Doki Modes (the option did not exist before). There are also 1440p and 2160p options now. Will need to make an update. Thanks for the info!

I'm unsure if I should buy this. I have gal*gun and gal*gun2 This video doesn't seem like it shows anything new. Does the joking parody story continue over from 1 or 2? Gal*gun1 and 2 have vr, and mods, does this count as 3? Or a random dlc more or less...?

This is actually a remastered version of the first Gal Gun, which only released in Japan on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. If you already played the PS3 version, it doesn't offer a lot of new content. Unless you were talking about Double Peace (the first Gal Gun released in English). The chronological order of the games is: Gal Gun or Gal Gun Returns -> Gal Gun Double Peace -> Gal Gun 2 (and Gal Gun VR somewhere in there). The gameplay in Returns is much simpler than that of the follow-ups (no item hunts, no bonus quests), but the story is fun and helps flesh out some of what happens later :) Hope this helps.

I love double peace wasen't a fan of Gal Gun 2 they slowed things down, and I don't mind the mild pervertness of this one and double peace but they upped the fan service while taking away all the things I loved about this one and double peace.
