I can compare the script between English and French and it’s very different. This difference almost change the tone of the exchange but also the relationship between the characters. The discussion between Cloud and Barret regarding the Bomb look more tense. Barret clearly says that he want to see if he is not a Shinra’s informer and despite the fact Tifa know him, he doesn’t trust him. We can even see Cloud interrupt his him in his speech to tell him “how many times he had to repeat he is just a mercenary”

360 has the best details and better models, as I felt Patako's head was a little too big in the remaster. PS3 has the better colors, but I dont like how some of the models look, particularly Patako's hair and eyes. And the Remaster on Switch has updated models that give them extra nice details, but the colors and lighting are not the best sadly. Definitely might try to get the 360 version (and hopefully unpatched) and hopes that it works since Im an American with a non J-tagged 360. EDIT: Im starting to wish there was an options to switch between the old in game art, as I like the way Kaname and the other girls' portraits look on the original release.

I speak Japanese and Spanish as my first languages and also english and française, and française is by far the greatest one here. But to be honest no voice acting in here is good

yeah you got one thing wrong about 'Risky Boots' you do know she is the only villain who's beaten shantae 3 times in a row, in risky revenge, pirate's curse and seven sirens. that is no easy feat. especially when most villains like: dr wily, Robotnik, King Kroc Rool, King Koopa can't even single handly beat the hero of the story. that's what makes Risky a real villain unlike the rest of the villains you've seen come before you.

if Professor Sakamoto was the composer for Shantae and the seven sirens? than we are in good hands!! XD knowing he created good soundtrack for Granblue Versus. trust me, the music is Guilty Gear/Blazblue top tier. it did not disappoint.

The remaster gameplay looks better, and of course the higher resolution is nice, but honestly everything else I like the 360 version better. The cutscenes and dialogue scenes just seem more appealing for some reason.

Why was this video recommended to me? Oh, yeah: because I watched a Boss Rush from Grim Guardians: Demon Purge (great Castlevania-style game, btw). I must say, though, I had heard of the game, but written it off my mind. Oh, well, one more item to add for that Steam sale. I need the laughs, don't care about the rest, have been a gamer/anime viewer for 2 decades now, so I'm pretty much vaccinated against almost all weird sh*t Japan can dish out... for the western market. This is one of those games that should have a label saying: "Welcome. Don't forget to leave your brain in the lockers by the door". But sometimes we need that kind of game when burned out of the better crop of Inti games, or are waiting for their next installment (love Blaster Master Zero trilogy and all the Gunvolt games).

I played River City Ransom for HUNDREDS of hours with my brother. This game is such a gem and a great nod to the original game. Love it.
