Good story. Question, why would injections, amphibian or reptile races had common ground with mammalian based races? Hive minds would not likely share values, avians might not either. Without sufficient power I'm unsure it's logical to bend the entire galaxies government to accommodate humans even intelligent races. It might have an effect on the law enforcement agencies but again that would probably be system specific. Silicon based species or chemosynthetic might be too foreign in outlook or mind set. Just saying, one win does not a galaxy reset make. I still liked the story. Would have liked a bit more about the boy Seven, even interactive narrative between the team and the survivors.

Ya know what I'd like to see in all the Scifi stories? Background scenes that relate to the story. Then since I'm mostly deaf, I have to read the closed captions. And the spelling is horrible. Whoever types these captions has no clue from one title of a bad guy to the next time it's brought up. A different spelling every time.

And did you ever notice too that in all these 'Alien's Tortured a Human Chiid' Stories, the child is ALWAYS a boy? Funny thing is, when I add the tittle into Chat GTP and ask it to write a story out of it, it mixes it up - sometimes boys, sometimes girls. Yet in all these HFY stories on youtube, they are ALWAYS boys, meaning the writters must be prompting it. Do they have some kind of perverse thing for little boys being hurt?

why are all the leaders and captains in these stories all female i get the diversity nonsense but at least try to mix shit up a bit. and even though it is sci-fi make some effort to make it believable

Want to know what's worse? In every singe one of these 'Aliens Tortured Human Child' stories... the victim is ALWAYS a boy.. Not once have a came across one with a girl. Not once, out of dozens.
