Something strange about calling one side the Terrans and the other the Dragon's when both sides would still be Terran.

This was told by aliens thousands of years after the actual battle took place by a species that has not experiences inter-species warfare in millions of years. The terrans likely changed the story for many reasons maybe they are trying to hide our bloody history from the universe...

Oh man, I love the old guy voice, Gotta send this to my Ute frens, Its a Perfect Native American accent and cadence. My Mothers side is Cherokee, I have experience and often have the same accent when telling the stories of my adventures in my Youth. I love this channel, the stories are very good and Your readers character voices reminds me of my Grandpa reading us bedtime stories, Sound effects, and incidentals like if a cat appears there will be a meow, or a dog then a bark bark, Horse a winny, Wolf a howl. I know you guys dont do that, but it reminds me of how good a story teller he was, he would meow at Grandmas Cat and it would turn around and be all, why is there another cat in my house. 😂

No offense intended just curiosity. One of the usual [AI?] voices that sounds like a young American, sometimes uses a stress intonation that I have heard from Native Americans. I might be mistaken as the only Native people I've talked to were Onondaga and Mashpee. It might just be a tone that many people occasionally use but these are the only contexts I've encountered. BTW When I revert to my family's accent I sound like a TV/movie actor faking a Boston accent badly. When I speak German I sound like a movie Nazi. 😓

I recognized the source in the first few minutes, but I wasn't sure if it was Iwo Jima or one of the other hard fought battles in the Island Hopping Campaign. Given that the Dragon was one of the symbols of the Tenno [天皇] and the nature of the battles I was fairly sure of the fictionalized source. I have lived in Japan and taught many Japanese students there and in the US. Fortunately peace and even friendship now reigns between the Dragons and the Terrans.

Ah'm gonna have to map out the Starbound Universe one of these days. Also, everyone knows tanks are made out of Gummi Bears and easily damaged by black sand (or sneezes). ^_^

I can't help but point out that no matter how coarse your sand is, it's not wearing out tanks or armored vehicles quickly enough to make a difference. Now, the weight of them? That CAN be a legitimate concern, but they arent going to wear themselves out of an operable status that quickly. Even our oldest tanks should hold fine.

@@chrissouthgate4554 sure, full on pebbles and small rocks can absolutely get caught in between the track and sprocket drive and throw the track. My point is mainly about the writer's idea of the sand physically damaging them enough. Stuck is one thing, and if you try to dig yourself out incorrectly, THAT might break something, but the sand is not going to wear them down that fast. Though it will eventually.
@TheRealAaronSmith16 күн бұрын
@@RADIOHFY my complaint is mainly about the idea of the sand wearing them out. Treated steels aren't going to be worn down that quickly. Eventually? Sure, but not immediately on contact. As I mentioned about the weight, getting stuck is a very possible scenario. That's the gamble with heavy, armoured vehicles.
